  • Never thought I would post about golf.
I must be getting old too.
This article is succinct and true.

The golfing gods are fickle. Absolutely no way that Spieth, Day and McIlroy will all still be relevant in 15 years.

Rickie finally having that breakout year that everyone has been waiting for. Good for him. I'm thinking about getting tickets for the BMW in a couple weeks....I've never been to a golf tournament in person.

The meat heads in the crowd took golf smack talk stupidity to a whole new level today. Just plain embarrassing. I blame the tournament director for letting Bros with cut off shirts in and then selling booze to them.

You probably believe in freedom and liberty, yet you don't think someone has a right to attend a golf tournament due to "cut off shorts"

Reading this, you are also against the tournament selling alcohol?
Sounds like you should attend a tournament in North Korea, or Utah.

Did you watch the tournament? Dude's were beyond obnoxious and calling Stenson a loser.
  • It's real life Happy Gilmore!

Listen, they should be thrown out for acting like that. But not allowing people in, that is just crazy.
People get thrown out of all kinds of sporting events. Find the culprits and escort them to the gate.

Jason's either a communist or a Mormon. Haha

It was a little annoying but, I mean, who really cares?

If you yelled like that at any muni in the country you'd be kicked off immediately. It's an individual sport. I don't mind a little bit of banter but clearly yelling and heckling players in an individual sport like golf is trash.

Do it, man. They are an absolute blast. Beers in the sun, walking around a beautiful course watching the best players in the world. Can't beat it.

Already got tickets for the PGA at baltusrol and the senior players here in Philly

My dad used to play with a guy that would yell "FUCK" as loud and long as he could when he screwed up. It was embarrassing really, and I was a teenager then.
Times are a changing in golf, as its popularity rises and it appeals to a greater audience, you are going to get some yahoos.
But we can't discriminate on people based on how they look before walking onto a golf course. Half the people in Alberta have tattoos everywhere. At the seniors event here last month I saw people I would never see on a golf course normally, but they were all well behaved.
Lot of Fred Couples jock sniffers though lol

There is a dress code to be on a golf course. The audience should have to abide by those rules. Even as a spectator you are 'on' the golf course.

It's a lot of fun.. Not a huge fan of conway farms but still fun. Huge traffic jam getting in last time.
