Yeah, Twitter was going kind of crazy about this yesterday. Didn't see it though. Beat Ko, right?

Have seen a bunch of videos. They just tap the ball and it runs off the green. And if you just drop the ball in the rough it disappears. Players haven't been complaining yet though. Don't think you can complain about Oakmont though.

ya ... beat ko in a playoff ... none of the top 3 women made bogey on Sunday ... it was impressive stuff all around ...

i think the greens are gonna be like a nascar race where you are gonna witness some major carnage ... enjoy your trip! ... i know you'll be cheering for sergio and poulter ... haha

That's cool. I haven't watched any of it, but apparently the LPGA is pretty impressive right now.

ha, yeah, I think I heard on a podcast today that a few of the greens could hit 18 on the stimp. I didn't think that existed or was even possible. Carnage everywhere. Thanks, man. haha, I could not imagine having to stomach either of them winning this tournament. Thankfully I don't think I'll have that problem.

Man if you guys saw me yesterday stick a hybrid from 210 yards out to within six feet of the hole (against a strong wind, carrying a big water hazard to boot), you'd think I should be playing in Oakmont this week.

And if you saw me yank the birdie putt (never flirted with going in), you'd see why I'm not.

Sure is. A few holes later I sunk a 30-foot putt from off the fringe......to save double bogey.

    Our national championship is underway.

I'm not betting on him to win since the odds stink, but I like Rory this week. This his game off the tee will make the difference and that everyone will miss putts. Don't see it coming down to a putting contest though if boy wonder makes those 10 footers for par that he always made last year, he may be tough to beat

Wow, golf on FOX is almost unwatchable. The microphones are not set properly and you can hear every hard breath and grunt from every one of these hack reporters.
It's just awful, It seems like every mic is live at one time, just random dudes talking gibberish.

I am serious, I am not sure how long I can take it.

Yessir. Incredible time. Incredible course. So much fun.

Think we saw pretty much every player at some point. Saw the entire course over the 2 days. Spent something like 17 or so hours at the course over 2 days and could have done more but the fuckers stopped selling beer at 6. Set up shop in a couple grandstands and watched a ton of groups come through. Definitely the way to go.

Fucking love the US Open. Every time I go to a golf tournament I say it but attending in person is so much fun. You can get so close to them, it's surreal.

Saw an eagle on 17, ton of birdies on 13 and a few doubles on 3.

Had a little banter with jimmy walker. Sat next to the 12 green for a while yesterday and he was the only guy that went for it. He bombed it and dunked in the the bunker. Paul Casey was making a mess of the hole and walker was standing at most 10 feet from us for like 5 minutes.

Me slightly intoxicated but not obnoxious: "no laying up, baby!"

    Walker: "never"

Me: "get this up and in for birdie and show them how it's done"

After he did he looked back with a thumps up, I said "I told you to do that" and he responded "thanks, coach"

Also, always funny to see the lower name European players smoking on the course. Remember that from Merion too. Brooks koepka was talking on his phone walking up the 4th fairway yesterday.

Should be a fun afternoon. Really want DJ to win this but would be happy with Lowry. Seems like an awesome dude. Just like when Americans win outlets national championship

Spieth looks like a miserable prick on the course. Given that I like tiger I can't say much but he is very quickly approaching that territory.
