I don't like the fact that he hasn't played since the open but he's still the favorite any tournament he enters, that's a fact not a opinion. He's the number one ranked player in the world and leading money winner on tour this year. He's finished in the top 6 in 8 of the 16 majors since he last won so its not like he's shitting the bed out there.

I'm trying to think of a golfer to say 'fuck ...' just like imalive but I can't think of one at the moment, maybe fuck Phil (but i kinda like the guy), maybe fuck Rickie (but I like him too)...ok, so fuck Stadler!! Not the dad but the son. Just for no reason.

Anyway, should be a great tourney this weekend. As has proved over the last 5 years of Tiger incomplete dominance, anyone can win.

Keegan yes. Before I went to Congressional for the AT&T, I thought Rickie too. But Rickie was cool as shit to my kid. High five leaving a hole, no biggie, but on the walk from 9 to 10 my kid is there - hand out. Rickie walks over says "what is up my man?" And slaps his hand and shakes it.

I have to pull for that long hair now

Different topic. Shot 45 in league tonight.....with a 9 and 8 on the two 5's :fp:

23 hours until the 3some of Woods, McDowell & Oosthuizen take their wacks around Muirfield.
Cannot wait, The Open is my fave of the 4 majors - looks like the weather is going to be pleasant - although, I do like one sideways rain and windstorm, wouldn't be The Open without some sort of weather hiccup, right?
I hope everyone enjoys it, will be fun to have some action (and tomfoolery)in this thread the next few days, and oh yeah...

Women can play, they just can't be Members. There are all-women clubs they can be a part of. Archaic? Yep, no doubt. But 'The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers' is over 260 years old and has a few "weirder" rules:
1 - You aren't allowed to play your own ball. Members play in groups of four, but instead of each golfer hitting their own ball, they break into pairs and alternate hitting shots.
    2 - No golf before 7 am - ever!
3 - Men have to arrive in a jacket and tie and then change into their golf clothes.

    Gotta love tradition :D
