Looking for some Newark/General Tour info, sorry if some of these have been answered elsewhere (I'm sure they have).

General Stuff
- Are they doing wristbands?
- Anyone have any luck bringing poster tubes in?

Newark Info
- I'm looking for a decent place to eat and meet up with my brother, hoping somewhere he can leave his car so we only need to pay for parking once. Any decent food choices that will fit this, or maybe a park and ride near by? I'll be coming in from either 78 or 95 (see below), my brother will be coming in from 80.
- Its pretty much the same distance for me to take 78 straight in, or take 76 through Philly and then 95 up, anyone recommend which one will be easier (thinking traffic in Philly might be good to avoid).
- What is the security like at the Prudential Center? I normally try to bring a bottle of water in, have about a 50% success rate at most Philly venues.
- In one of the other threads I saw that you can purchase parking tickets from Prudential Center's website. I won't have enough time to tail gate, so its just going to be parking for me. Is that the way to go, or am I better just finding something when I get there?
- Is the Prudential Center bad to get into as far as lines go? I'm going to be strapped for time and I'd hate to show up and end up missing Band of Horses because I need to wait in line.

-Thanks

Good places to eat in the area - Brick City, Scully's, Hell's Kitchen, Spot Lounge but if we are pressed for time you won't have time to eat at any of these places.

Not sure of a good place to meet up so you don't have to pay for parking. Prepaid parking is OK but you can probably find cheaper parking a couple blocks away from the arena.

I've been there about 75 times for hockey but only 1 other concert. The lines never seem that bad, especially if you enter from the South Tower (the opposite side from the box office)

    Good luck.

if you can get to MMM Bellos at 376 Market street, that's where many PJ fans are gathering for the pre-party fund-raiser

Is this a bar or a restaurant? Is it 21+ or all ages? Thanks.

I'm hoping to have an hour to hour and a half from the time I park till the doors open, think thats enough time to hit any of those up? There seems to be quite a bit of food about a block north or the arena, worst case I am planning on going right there and walking for some food.

If you get there before 5pm Brick City is the closest and shouldn't be that packed. After 5pm it gets pretty crowded. If you only have an hour I would go to either Scully's or Spot Lounge. The are both 2-3 blocks north of the arena.

There is a parking garage next to Spot Lounge and that is were I always park. http://www.atthespot.net/
