Whatever reason I give you probably won't be good enough for somebody with Hoagies and Cheesesteaks listed under their screen name.
Try me. Nice setlist tonight but I'm not seeing any consecutive mindblowers along the lines of this particular chunk of Philly 3:
Tremor Christ
Untitled
MFC
Hold On
Unthought Known
In Hiding
Deep
Habit
However...arguing about which show is better is like kissing your mouth open mouthed. It's gay. Just me posting those songs above was gay. Who cares really...they are both shows and unless you are at both, you aren't really in a position to comment.
I don't know man - that's a nice stretch of songs, but nothing epic. Tonight is certainly on par with that stretch of songs in my opinion - but like you also said - what's the point of arguing about setlists. In fact, I'd say the setlist is only one part of the show - the energy from the band and the crowd has alot to do with it too.

Wouldnt it be funny if these were just two a-holes on twitter messing with us and not the set at all?
i was at the columbus show...if this were true, via ed, they would be the anti-christ of the pj religion.
I was at Columbus too. yeah, I loved that whole bit about Stone being the leader--and that you can do whatever the fuck you want! a great religion in my opinion. don't think God would like it though if I fully converted over

The real Boston setlist:
Alive
Even Flow
Jeremy
Black
Small Town
Daughter
Better Man
No More
Just Breathe
Unthought Known
The Fixer
Do the Evolution
Encore 1
Rockin' in the Free World
Crazy Mary
Yellow Ledbetter
No Encore 2
you laugh but i would love that with my non PJ friends except the no encore thing.
2nd encore:
Porch
RVM
Given to Fly
Immortality
I know, I know, that's a dream setlist for a lot of folks. I'm SO glad Pearl Jam doesn't do this like so many other bands of their stature. Their willingness to play their lesser known material is the number one reason PJ continues to interest me after all these years.
