    you guys wont believe me as I still dont believe it myself, but i almost called this that day on the way to the bronx. My college buddy and I were heading East from Penn State and I said to him during the car ride, "how cool would it be if John Popper showed up on the stage to play during Smile"? Wrong song but i nailed it. My friend will verify this is true!

    I got to meet John Popper in Seattle flying out one day, he was in the security line right in front of me wearing his famous harmonica hat, thats how I knew who it was. He let me slip by in the line because he had some stuff to organize and I shook his hand and commented on how great his music was..he was a super nice guy.

    Also he has thanked Eddie on the liner notes in one of the Blues Travelers albums, can't remember which one....
