Good question. His face was hilarious when he read it.0 -

Ya it looked like fruit punch in the wine bottle..It was very red, maybe fruit punch gatorade. EV didn't seem all that wasted0 -

Great set, fun and energetic show!

drsluggo wrote:Why would anyone think EV would pimp their website on stage? I mean... I've seen some pointless things thrown up, but that was just... why? And the signs being held up - all they were doing was annoying people. I'm glad security got two of them out of there.
i saw them at the bar and getting the boot from security... seemed like real winners0 -

just got back to home in rhode island after last night...my 13th show and of course the band came through once again...buffalo kicked ass.
unthought known opener...a bunch of us have been waiting for it and i loved it! you could tell from the start the crowd was psyched to have them back. from there, it was rapid fire versions of severed hand and animal, which i thought they absolutely unleashed...NO WAY (way.) was a great treat to see...and the performance of light years i felt was one of the night's strongest, as was grievance. i was rocking around air guitarin and hopping and singing along to it and you can always tell when someone near you doesn't QUITE know the song as well as you do, cause you get that weird confused "whoa buddy" look lol.
i only wished ed has done the modern girl tag after not for you...and closing the main set with wasted reprise-->betterman was truly amazing. ed teasing the audience with the singing was fun. then in the encore we were treated to the rarely played fatal, which was awesome (false start-cough) ...spin the black circle and rvm were blistering. by the time the once/alice/f'in up/YL second encore came i was exhausted but happy!
the crowd was absolutley mad for it (GREEN SHIRT GUY RULES!!!) and i really want to thank 10c for the awesome seats...117 row 12 with a 434xxx number sounds very very good to me so i was stoked. also got treated to sitting next to two lovely ladies from toronto who had gone to cleveland the night before, so ya, they were good seats lol.
loved the rocky shirt ed was sportin...reminded me of the amazing philly shows i got to go to.

I want to thank Pearl Jam and 10Club for my 1st row center stage tickets!
I sat in awe for a few minutes taking in the view...amazing!
This was the first time I have used the 10Club fan tickets service. I never thought I would be that close ever again...so thank you!
Another great performance, sounded great, excellent energy and all from the front row!
Thanks again,

And +1 to "Green Guy". we noticed him too. He was over the top, but in the good way. He was just up close and overjoyed. Good for him.
And behind him about 15 rows was the guy and the little kid. He had his kid on his shoulders and Ed called him up, threw them a tambourine and the guy caught it. Nice job. That kid had an unreal experience.0 -

I was in the third row last night and I....let's say...had too many alchoholic beverages. Did Eddie set something on fire last night on stage or did I just totally imagine this? I swear I remember him brnig something.

First off I’d like to give two thumbs up to Canadians for representing in Buffalo
– there were a shit load of us there. I know this because it took us 1 hour to cross the border. Ya, the fools only had 4 lanes open but they weren’t taking more than 1-2 minutes per vehicle so there were a lot of us !!!
Its weird, but a lot of the reviews for the Buffalo show are coming from people sitting (ya, right – we were standing the whole time) in section 116 – row 14 which is where I was. I was lucky enough to have the two aisle seats and rocked my ass off all night long. Met 2 youngins from St. Catherine – thanks for holding my camera while I was busy doing other things – too bad you didn’t know the camera well enough that one of you accidentally stopped the recording during Fatal no less – but its all good – enjoyed meeting you both. Also meet a nice couple from Scarborough with a way cool camera. Sorry for not ‘sharing’ with you as much as I would have liked to but I got a bit paranoid when security started to coming around. Too bad we didn’t exchange email addresses so we could swap vids. And lastly, the funny/nice guy we met at the Irish Pub (I think the pub was called something ‘DeVine’) who just got back from Cleveland seeing the show with his brother – it was great chatting with you and thanks for sharing your free fries. This is a testament that Pearl Jam fans ARE the best. Thank you all for adding to my experience.
To the guy in the green Tee on the floors – you must of lost at least 10 lbs. with all that jumping around but it looked like you had a hell of a good time and I say Hail Hail to those that know how to enjoy and you sure looked like you had a fuckin blast. You and Mr. McCready had a thing going at one point where it looked like he was playing just for you - it was great to see the connection.
I really enjoyed the concert – never have I walked away from a PJ concert saying it wasn’t good but……I’ve only been to 6 Pear Jam concerts (5 in Toronto and 1 in Buffalo) which is nothing if your comparing to most of you other there - BUT so far I’ve heard:
Do the Evolution, Even Flow & Better Man – 6 times
Alive, Given to Fly – 5 times
Elderly Women/Small Town, Severed Hand, Unemployable - 4 times
Not For You, Wasted Reprise, Rearview Mirror – 3 times
Animal, Fuckin’ Up, Got Some, Grievance, Spin the Black Circle, The Fixer – each 2 times.
So I can’t understand with the massive catalogue of music the boys have – WHY? I’m not asking for an all rarity set list and I understand leaving in staples such as Alive, Rearview Mirror, GTF - but they played 26 songs last night and 11 I’ve heard 3 times or more and 6 I’ve heard twice. That’s 17 out of 26 songs repeated in this general area and I’m hoping the boys will figure it out and fix it cause this is a bit RI-DICK-U-LUS and I’d love to hear more of what you got hidden. OK rant over.
But the boys were fuckin wicked and I can’t take that away from them – my videos are so messed up cause I couldn’t keep from rocking out – good sound but watching them makes you nauseous like you’re on a roller coaster ride.
Eddie was dancing and swaying and drinking and funny with some of the comments he made – saying the crowd was high and he himself was feeling a bit tingly after playing for 20 years. He mentioned the band would be a Gremlin if it wasn’t for Matt, whom he called a Mazarrati. He tried imitating Ted Nugent and how he pronounces it. Then he said Ted probably wouldn’t like this next song and went into Amongst the Wave. He got a shit load of t-shirts and shirts tossed to him that I’d venture a guess he doesn’t have to shop for much to complete a wardrobe. In fact, he got a runner tossed up to him and he added some wine to it and was going to drink it (had it up to his mouth and was tilting it) when he probably thought to himself ‘what the fuck am I doing drinking from a shoe?’ and ended up backing away from it - but I do believe some hit his lips. Ed smashed his guitar – slammed it down just below Matt’s kit – I think the guitar got hurt. He Fucked up on Fatal. So he was in true form and the crowd lovvved it.
Mike was a whirlwind as usual and just sooooo damn interesting to watch. Stone was on fire but saw more of his ass than face. Jeff busted some moves – I regret not paying more attention to him. Matt – a machine as usual – sharp and concise and centers all the boys. I know there’s more to share but my mind is still processing it and I’m wiped.
I was so thrilled we got some sweet choices from Back Spacer played – they were tight and spot on. Highlights for me from the whole show were Amongst the Wave, Unthought Known, Got Some, Fatal, No Way, Once, Severed Hand, Grievance, and yes, Alive.
Anyway, if you haven’t figured it out – I had a great time, met some wonderful people and got to see true ROCK STARS at work (and play) and loved every minute of it. Thanks 10C for my kick-ass sits (best I’ve had so far) and I’m keeping my fingers crossed Pearl Jam ends up in Toronto early Autumn – that would be sweet since I can’t afford to travel.
VoVI better make something of it - cause the in-between is MINE!!!

Fun show! Awesome 10C seats - close side section so much preferable to row no. 40 on the floor! Visibility was super!
Buffalo was an example of why you can't judge a show simply by the songs on the setlist. There was such a great atmosphere. I'm not sure I can add anything that hasn't been already said, except the part where Ed had a drum stick and was conducting the crowd - very funny.
Loved them opening with Unthought Known, hearing Fatal, FUCKIN' UP - its a little more rare than some of the other ending songs like RITFW and Baba, so always good to hear it. Grievance yes! One of my favorites and haven't hear often lately. No Way, Light Years - some nice additions. Band was on form -they are playing great.
And the clothes that got thrown up - probably at least 10 pieces. He won't have to buy shirts.
Looking forward to Hartford and NYC.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

Such a great night!! Section 116 row 7! The seats were amazing.
I was blown away as always...I was pulling for Unthought Known to open and....yay!!
The band sounded fantastic. The crowd was so positive, as usual. And...I must say...All you PJ men are wonderful to look at! Ladies too.
Thanks PJ and Buffalo!
