Went to Cleveland and Buffalo. Band had more energy in Cleveland but the crowd sucked. Blacked off upper deck at back end facing the stage so a much smaller crowd. Buffalo had to open up seats behind the stage and band played a song for them. Had a small drum set facing them for Matt. They are not young guys anymore(damn I'm almost their age) so it is understandable but now if they are going to play 2 nights in a row ,play Buffalo first. They sounded awesome and Ed and the guys enjoyed and feeded off the large crowd. Ed screwed up on Fatal and Not For You and had to restart which he laughed about and took another sip of wine before starting.. Setlist awesome both nights and I always loved Fatal....Going to Hartford. Band never plays the same show that is why you travel with them!

116 row 17 here - great section to be in. Two guys in front of me were having the most fun bromance to watch - they were really happy to be there. That guy in green was awesome to see too - sooo much excitement!

Ed doing up his socks

Great set, fun and energetic show!

Just remembered a few other awesome moments....

Anybody else catch McCready and Ament chasing each other around in a circle while playing Spin The Black Circle? Hilarious.

And did anybody catch McCready and Gossard walking back out for the encores with their arms around each other both times? So cute.

haha I caught that, the running around in a circle was amusing

I had a perfect view of where they exited/entered and I saw them come out for the 1st encore with their arms around each other, but not the second time, so cool

where were your seats RTW ? I was in 116 row 14

ha i was in sec 116, row 14th too. thot those seats were awesome!

yes, the first time I have been in the wings of an arena and it was great to have absolutly nothing obstructing my view of the stage,

good show last night...but trying to sell my extra 10C ticket was painful...total buyers market and couldn't even get face value for it (highest I got offered was $20)..

I'm sure after some people hear about this they"ll be on hear saying, "they shouldn't play there anymore than" or "that's why they haven"t had a show since 2003"

I say screw that, when I was at the show in Cleveland, yes there some parts of the arena not used, but I remember thinking how glad I was that Pearl Jam was playing the mid-west on this tour. Were all the shows in KC, StL, Columbus, Indy (Deer Creek), Cleveland or even in Buffalo last night sold out, maybe not, but the shows have been good and people that live in these areas or can get there with ease get a chance to see them also.

those photos from the buffalo news are a riot

the guy must have stayed for 2 songs and then left

ed never stays that dry for long

I'm fairly sure press photographers are only ever allowed into the photo pit for the first 3 songs.

That's surprising, the place looked pretty much packed. Maybe because it was a single?

possibly, but it wasn't like it was a bad seat (sec 115, row 11)...people were actually laughing at me outside for trying to sell it..

oh man, great times as usual.
Loved Unthought as opener and loved no way and fatal of course. The pj song bucket list shortens! 11th row mike's side aisle. Silly security was kept telling me to go back to my seat when i accidentally started migrating frontward in the aisle lol but they were pretty decent i guess overall about dancing around and when eddie came over to our side and most people migrated up to say hello.

Funny moment included when a mom and young cute daughter were brought up to the front by eddie's security guard during the last encore...they were beside me in the first row of wings and the fans were cheering them on and mom had a freaked out look on her face! loved it! i think they ended up getting a tambo from Ed in the front row area. Lucky!

Personal highlight was Mike McCready pointing at me via my Team McCready tshirt (thanks lisa c for calling it at the preparty when i bought it!). So yeah that was a thrill. He's great like that eh?

Thanks for the great seats too Ten Club. I think i've been on the aisle for the last 5 shows or something and love it cause i'm a jumpy dancer air guitar type and need the room to avoid being hated by those around me haha. So yea, dunno how you ''know'' that but it's great every time!

That's why they played Buffalo, That's why. For all of those who asked why would PJ go to Buffalo, if you were at the show now you know! They played overtime in '03 and I believe Eddie's words were something like..."Fuck it, we'll deal with the city and pay the fine." Last night he said that he remembers what a warm welcome we give them and he said how they had a fun time with us. He also said "till next time" or something like that. He made a reference about a small town and they played Elderly woman... Yeah that is how we feel a lot of the time, but it's still home. You gotta be happy with what you got. And last night what we got was a kick-ass crazy rock show from the greatest band on earth, again. They'll be back. I just hope next time it's not too long in between. "I miss you already eddie hey yey. I miss you always"

    P.S. TOMMY, POST!

Setlist wise not quite as good as cleveland was... but the crowd was absolutely nuts. The band also seemed a lot more energetic and really engaged the crowd a ton. Getting tired of just breathe live. Great seats on the wing section 106 row 12... I always end up on captain mike's side. A few gems on the list but a somewhat vanilla setlist. Stbc rocked!

I enjoyed tonights show more than cleveland. The poster is sharp in person, the colors really pop out.

Eddie smashed up a guitar again. Someone threw their sneakers onstage and he pretended he was going to drink wine or gatorade out of it. He spit it out, dumped it before it got too far. Dedicated light years to tim russert as he did in camden in 2008. Eddie acknowledged buffalo has gotten a few epic shows and they planned on keeping the trend, but it was not as special as 2003.

Buffalo '03 will go down as one of their best shows ever. Last night was solid, though.

    just sayin' :)

have fun all and enjoy thr rest of the tour!

I have been a huge Pearl Jam fan my whole life. It is safe to say that they are the best band going today (No Doubt). It was my first PJ concert and I was not disappointed. Best concert ever! The 10 Club is second to none, the fans are the best, and the seats were great. Everything exceeded my expectations. The set list was unbelievable. The crowd was very in to it and the vibe was perfect. I wish they would play in Rochester! Going to Madison Square Garden next week..

who threw up the yellow (looked neon but may have just been the lights) t shirt with custom black lettering on it. ed looked at it, was about to read it to the crowd and then was like "WTF!" and then threw it down and was done with it. I'm curious what it said?

I can confirm that the shirt did say "ihadagoodnight.com." My buddy and I were in section 116 row 1, in between songs my buddy threw it as the stage was dark , being that the shirt was neon yellow and black light was involved Eddie lunged and caught the shirt did a spin-o-rama and was about to read it and said WTF. LOL but even more classic than that was when he tasted either wine or fruit punch out of somebodies shoe and spit it out with it dripping down his chin, that is a moment i will never forget.

Does anybody have footage of Eddie catching the shirt? We weren't taping at that time because we didn't expect EV to catch it. If so can you post it on you tube?

Why would anyone think EV would pimp their website on stage? I mean... I've seen some pointless things thrown up, but that was just... why? And the signs being held up - all they were doing was annoying people. I'm glad security got two of them out of there.
