    I was at the game last night and hoping to see Trout's 1000th career RBI. 
    is 1000 RBI really that big of a deal? 300 guys have done it.
    I like milestones like that. Only thing I can tell you. It's too bad he didn't get it sooner.

    I miss Shea Stadium, where you were always allowed to bring your own food and drink into the park.

    today should be interesting, altho Eugenio is off the board. Mets and Phillies seem to be gearing up.

    for my Giants, I just wish this fucking season was over. can’t believe Buster extended Bob Melvin for next year. Gabe Kapler would be getting better results.

    The Cubs big trade deadline acquisition is Michael Soroka.
    A starting pitcher who is 3-18 over the last 2 years. 
    Take me piece by piece.....

    Soroka was never the same after those Achilles injuries. It's a shame too, because he had such a promising start to his career.

    I watch a nine inning game on TV with the volume turned off for 4-5 innings. Its hard for me to listen to a lot of the nonsense. Haha

    Maybe I am just old and grouchy. But when the announcers start rambling on an on about nothing but nonsense, I just turn off the volume.
