    No days off for the first 3 series. So 3 days straight, 5 days, then 7 days. World Series will have 2 days off

    9 games left for the Reds to try and hold on to 2nd in Central.  It would look good except for the fact that they are without 2 games from Sonny G, down with injury.  Oh yeah - and the fact that they play 6 of those games against the White Sox and Twins.  
    What a strange "season" - I'm predicting they go 4-5 in those 9, and miss the expanded playoffs.  (No team sub .500 should ever make playoffs.)

    What a wierd season

    The reds won more games than StL but finishes behind then.
    The whole Central made the playoffs.  (I don't count Pittsburgh as a real MLB team)

    Now Karl Ravich(who should never be allowed to leave the Studio to announce) is all for expanded  Playoffs on a permanent basis. If so, why play 162 games?

    I was actually talking about it earlier in the game with a buddy. Dickriding Matt gd Carpenter just to keep babbling. I’m along for the ride but im not under the slightest impression that they’re a legitimate threat to win so much as one more game.
