    Diamondbacks have threatened to leave over breach of contract with the county on upkeep of the stadium. The dumbass politicians had an engineer do an estimate on needed maintenance of Chase Field and he came back with a 187million dollar estimate. County per the contract has to pay this and they do not have the money. Because they paid the engineer the county is fucked now. They can't fight their own study. Unless you are the NFL and you pay another study to slam the first one of course.

    Fat ass Pablo lost his starting gig for Sox. That non signing by the Giants looks better and better every day. I think Giants will keep Duffy and Sox can deal with Fat Ass for the rest of the years on his deal.

    Giants tacked a few million over what the Sox were offering at the last minute to try and get him to stay. Originally they were low balling him (at the time) because of his weight and health issues which is what caused him to go into FA and not just resign with the Giants. He went with Sox as Giants wanted to put weight clauses into his contract and Sox did not. So while the Giants did try and retain him they were smart enough to know to put some insurance into the deal in case his weight got worse.

    Amazing to me that this guy can't even stay in decent shape. You don't even need to be in great shape for baseball, but this guy is so fat that he can barely move around in the field. Crazy. It's even more amazing that the red sox committed $95M to him.
