Wow I never thought about it this way :o

in the last years of his contract, it will be closer to $200K per night. :lolno:

Remember when Roger Clemens made about $1 million per start that one year? Still blows my mind.

Major point: you are rediculous if you think a "typical" New Yorker would have done this.
Minor point: that was a woman kicking another woman.

If you need further proof that the A's don't have a chance in hell of being competetive for a full season, they just upgraded at 3B by signing Brandon Inge to be their new starter. It's a legitimate upgrade, too, not a scarcastic one. Their 3B this year have hit .111 with 8 errors. Inge may only be hitting .100, but he only comitted 9 errors at 3B in both the 2010 (144 games) and 2011 (99 games) seasons.

There's security but they can't be everywhere at all times. I hope the girl ended up being alright. To fall two rows like that had to hurt.

not for nothin, but that chick had it coming to her. stay in your seat and keep your mouth shut and you won't get punted 5 rows.

she deserved it. I hate boston

Stadium fights in general are pretty horrible and idiotic, but a karate kick to the dome and falling 2 or 3 rows is fantastic.

    scully is such a beast

Tremendous baseball point by Keith Olbermann. The baseball aficionado pointed out Saturday that for Mickey Mantle's big-league debut in 1951 and for Bryce Harper's in 2012, Vin Scully was in the broadcast booth both times.

I have the usual rotation going. Mostly phils...will be flipping to darvish (dude's a stud), mlb network, and the hockey game (f the NYR)
