As my first full season as a fan of the sport itself ended, i can't see no other team than NY winning it
Have you seen they're hitting personel!? who cares about pitching when you have hitters like that
The Rays won because the fans had ''i believe in miracles'' sign :)

My father is 90 years old and is a long time baseball fan. His successful predictions for playoffs and WS are amazing. As early as mid-July he's been saying Phillies and Yanks in the WS. Will be interesting to see if he's right again!

Good pitching wins out. Go Tigers!
I met Granderson many times while he was in the D. There is not a more stand up guy in the league.
He will be the only Yank I'll cheer on...probably ever!

I want them to get good again as well, because it's more fun when both teams in New York are good. Plus it means the little guy (security guards, ushers, vendors and other seasonal employees get more money) when there are more games and bigger crowds. I could care less about the Wilpons, but I have friends who work at the stadium and friends who have invested money into tickets. They deserve a normal functioning team that is successful on the field.

why even start that game last night? didn't mlb learn anything from '08?

leave it to mlb to find a way to screw things up after one of their most thrilling finishes of a season ever.

I don't know. Incredibly annoying. I didn't realize it was going to rain but then again I didn't look at the forecast. The weather can't be that hard to predict.

Fucks this series up. CC was on his game last night but then again, I like the Yankees chances with their bats to take 3 out of 5 from Detroit with Verlander only going once.

Edit: And not to mention, Yanks get 3 more outs tonight than the Tigers do plus they have their lineup for a lefty in.

lol, yeah she is a diehard mets fan...first thing we ever talked about was baseball. I'd probably be bored married to a phillies fan. it's actually a lot of fun, our aprils-september are always intersting!
