Give me a Dodgers/Yankees World Series and I'll be happy.
They are the last 2 teams I want to see in the WS.

I may not watch if that happens.
I do not follow baseball anywhere near as much as I did 20-30 years ago. I couldn't tell you 5 starters on both MLB all-star teams combined.

    But I know Judge
    And I know Ohtani

To me it's a no brainer.

I don't like either team so I don't care about Judge or Ohtani being in the WS.
    same.

the ONLY bright spot is that manny is out.
I'm not a big fan of Machado either.

But, I'd rather the Padres over BOTH LAD & NYM.
I’m just looking for ANY bright spot!
I understand as the only team that I want to see win is Cleveland.

    Yea, he is.

Also, remember when his best friend in the US got caught gambling millions of dollars of his money? Imagine having a best friend that you’re with so much that you literally could not communicate without and not being able to know that something was wrong and that he was stealing and gambling your money? Or that anyone would actually take that money without massive reassurances?

That scumbag contract structure better cripple them in the future

I hope the next time Ohtani comes to Chicago, he goes directly to the Draft Kings Bar at Wrigley Field, and places some bets.

Mine ended last Thursday.  Go Cleveland.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.
  • Why anyone would want to see Cleveland in the WS unless you are a fan is beyond me.  I think Kwan was the only bright spot on that team for the playoffs so far?  It's cool that Ramirez is in.  Dude has been a beast for years and nobody knows about him.

So. Do I go to a Mets game or not?  $188 for standing room.

I just read you could go to the yankees game for $74.

it’s not about who we WANT to see, it’s about who we DON’T WANT to see.

Cleveland is a dull team though.  Typically scratch and claw for runs and try to get it to the bullpen and squeeze out wins.  Clase is fun to watch though.

I do think there is appeal in (whatever sport) watching a long-tortured team with a historic streak go for a title.  Guardians/Dodgers would be a true David/Goliath and a lot of casual fans may back Cleveland and hope to see history.

Stop it w Lane Thomas.  He hit the Grand Slam.. Thats it for his resume.

    I did forget about Clase.

LeBron was their savior.  Relish in that for the next 75 years or enjoy the next Bob Feller day?

He also hit a 3-run HR in game 1 and was 6 for 19 I think?  I would say that is/was a good series.

He is the only other one who hit on that team.  Whats crazy is he had 2 runs only that series, he had to drive himself in. Everyone else was 200 and lower but yeah hang your head on that, lol.

I don't think Cleveland wins a game off them.  You will need Randy Quaid in the outfield as a rally cry.
