Ranger Suarez is a Greg Maddux-ish lefty (well that's pretty aspirational I guess). Big phan phavorite.
I was curious about him so I read up.

Last 3 games opponents exit velocity...
    April 11 vs. Pirates: 76.4 mph (career-best)
April 16 vs. Rockies: 79.4 mph
    Monday vs. Reds: 77.2 mph

If you cant hit 100mph the ball isn't going over the fence.

Good for him! 93mph fastball.  I like it.
He induces a lot of ground balls that I might be able to field. LOL

They're doing better than expected. Don't know how long it will last?

10-16 still is a 63-99 pace, so likely somewhere in the 90s is their loss total.

a little better….same amount out of first….neither team is gonna do anything.

edit: but at least no superstars are wasting their careers on the giants.

Bryce Harper actually wore one of the old jerseys for one of the games. What a big ass middle finger.

Did anyone see the clip from the Brewers/Rays "fight" last night?
    Baseball players are disgraceful fighters.
It is good that they fight like they do, because broken bones in your hands are awful things for baseball players....but the silly slapping while falling away "macho moments" are funny.  These guys think it makes them look tough, but it does not.

Also, this sucks for Trout.  Age fucks everyone

Trout torn meniscus. Dear fucking lord...

    So last 4 years...
Calf, back, bone in hand and knee. In 22 he still hit 40 hrs in limited playing time so he still has it.  Staying on the field though...

He is becoming Byron Buxton.  Best player when they are on the field...

Cmon, you must be joking.  Buxton and Trput cannot be compared.  One is a great player, one of absolute best in his era, and the other is a boob.

If you actually studied Buxton youd see the dude has been fire and gets hurt.  Every. Single . Year. He has never played a full season sand 1 year at 140 games, woohoo.

But seriously.  If you followed Buxton you would see the guy gets electric then falls on the ground with a sprained wrist or some other ailment I've never expected and out for an undisclosed amount of time.

I use him because he is one of the few players I have seen that good that cant stay healthy. I won't say Aaron Judge just yet though if he gets hurt again this year I will.

Why do you consider Trout a boob?
