18 games and 19 years. Last game won in postseason was '04. I think '02 was last series win against A's. And they've sent the Jay's home. Nice series win and pitching.
I maintained all year that this was going to happen to the Yankees if they faced the Twins.

One Trick Pony should be glad his base running gaffe will be overshadowed by his idiot manager’s decision to pull Berrios.

the giant turd laid by milwaukee reflects poorly on the NL central.

no wonder the cubs and reds contended.

I would prefer it if the two NLDS series were not inter division but oh well.

there was about zero drama in these WC series.

Can't believe Skip told his pitchers to give up home runs and his batters not to score many runs.

Seemed like a fairly boring set of series for the non-invested viewer.

yeah, pretty terrible drama free games.  Tough luck for MLB.

Hopefully the Division round is better.  Match ups look good.  Braves/Phillies and Texas/Houston should be good.  Orioles and Twins will be good between 2 starved fanbases.  Arizona/LA doesnt move the needle much but its good to have the west coast for time-staggering and late games.

The Twins/Jays games were pretty tight throughout and had some good plays. Looks lackluster from the box scores, but Toronto could have easily won both those games.

Also, Astros host the Twins in the ALDS and Orioles host Rangers. Hoping for some exciting games this weekend. I love playoff baseball. An Orioles/Twins ALCS would be my pick. Loved the O's when my Twins went in to the gutter by the mid-90's. Mussina was probably my favorite AL pitcher at the time, until he became a Yankee.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Yeah, unfortunately the Mauer years were some of the worst playoff performances in franchise history. Good regular season teams, but didn't bring it in the post season. That '04 lineup was great. If I recall correctly, I think we got Stewart from the Blue Jays in a trade the previous year.

That’s kinda surprising to me. Those teams weren’t that bad.

yeah, pretty terrible drama free games.

Looks lackluster from the box scores, but Toronto could have easily won both those games.

    yeah...if they could hit.

the last time the stinking d**gers played the d-bags, they outscored them 23-5 in a 3 game series. I hope it’s different, this time around.

he’s good, but corbin carroll has a punchable face.

Looking forward to the Atlanta Braves celebrating Indigenous Peoples Day with the tomahawk chop. 30 years ago on Columbus Day Lenny Dykstra beat the Braves in top of the 10th with a juicy CF homer.

Also Happy Columbus Day to my fellow paisani. Old Cristofo vehemently denied those charges against him; the truth is hazy at best.

Growing up in Northern California, my default outlook on the playoffs is anybody but the Dodgers.
