    Bye bye Braves.

    :(

My prediction of a Chipper Jones walk-off HR was waaaaayyy off.

    Picked the wrong series
  • I so glad the Red Sox didn't make the play-offs.. just to humble all of the ESPN types that were making them seem like the greatest team that ever played the game in May.. they choked huge.. and I love the fact that they did..

THE GREATEST NIGHT OF MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL I HAVE EVER WATCHED!!! UNREAL!! He won't be, but Longoria should win the MVP based on tonight's performance alone. Hoping for AZ in the NL and anyone but the Yankees in the AL.

  • Given the minute to minute, do you think them damn Yanks let them win on purpose.. Just a final "fuck you" to the Red Sox season?? anything is possible, they had nothing to lose..

When the Yanks were up 7 runs, I said to my friend, "Seriously, why are the Yanks even trying? Wouldn't they love if the BoSox missed the playoffs?" I thought it was over. Yanks win. Man, did the tables turn.

More importantly, how do Yanks fans feel about this game?

just ignore the DL comment you clown

clean your ears out...he was hurt...

he wasn't on the DL during the all star break. he played in 6 of 7 games after he came off the dl before the all star break....he played in just about every single game post all star break.

don't give me that bull shit...

i get yankee's fans don't care that he didn't make the trip, and quite frankly, i don't care that he didn't play....

but don't being throw out these weak sauce excuses trying to defend him.

yea this team is good and exciting. So was their team a few years back. Its a shame FLA doesnt embrace baseball. Marlins 2 titles since they came along in the 90's. I know the rays were bad for a long time and their stadium is shit..I think they have a new one coming to dont they. Marlins have one next year.

They can't get that off the ground. Still stuck in that clown stadium for the foreseeable future.

Those were some seriously forlorn faces in that stadium last night. I almost felt bad about it. Then I thought about the 11 NL East titles in a row, and changed my mind. 8-)

    Doesn't philly have 11 too? :)

5 in a row, which blows my mind. Total of 11, actually.

Just 2 World Series titles, one short of the Braves 3 (1 in each city).
