The A’s closer was very impressive. If he played for a popular team, he’d be a budding legend.

the little “jazz hands” thing the d**gers do is beyond lame.

curse of the ASG continues for Giants pitchers

Do I need to adjust my picture or are these uni’s really this ugly?
    Yes, they are butt ugly.
So about them unis.  There is no way that MLB actually makes money off of those but at the stadium, just like a PJ show w a bad poster, the masses buy them.

Keep buying that crap and they'll keep making them...

I read that because it's a rare event the people attending want a keepsake so a jersey and hat combo for $230 was a good spend... OK.

So about the game.  I finally got to see Skenes pitch.  Dude is a beast.  He has an interesting story too.

The guy that hit the game winner, Durran.  Check him out.  Dude has had some long hit streaks this year.

I passed on Chris Sale because of his track record of being hurt.  Congrats to whomever to a chance on him n Fantasy.

Ohtani is doing triple crown numbers literally.

Bobby Witt Jr is on fire.  No way he eclipses Judge though.

Who you got for award winners?
    NL
    MVP Ohtani
Cy Young Skenes.  Yeah I'm going there.
    ROY Skenes

    AL
    MVP Judge
    CY Skubal
ROY Cowser  People have Langford but man I don't care for his numbers.  Cowser has been the slightly better hitter for HR and runs.

I do horrible at these (just look at my fantasy baseball predictions )

NL Not sure about the MVP. As of now its probably Ohtani. I can see Harper and Ozuna in the discussion though. Cy Young i'd go with Sale or Wheeler, Skienes would be in the discussion though.

AL. It's Judge's to lose. I'd agree on the rest.

Kinda weak to give MVP to someone who doesn't field. Maybe Bryce will have a monster 2nd half.

kinda weak to give it to a d**ger.

kinda weak to put DH sloppi in the HOF on the first ballot.

is trout an HOFer? I know everybody loves the guy but one great ability is availability.

Betts gets it then if you don't think Ohtani is the best player out there which I think is weak. Dude is looking at triple crown numbers and head and shoulders a better hitter than everyone.

He is. 3 mvp's and 10 years of great.  Think Kirby Puckett or Dimaggio. He has an 86 WAR.  That's 20 over the normal HOFer...

If he wins Triple Crown or basically something just so far above everyone else, yeah gotta give him MVP. I think it's got to be pretty significantly not close as to who's the best hitter.

I hear you.  Ozuna is close in every category too but hes also a DH.

Id give it to Mookie, Harper is a little off.  If he heats up I could see him getting it.
