Umm I was wrong about Acuna 40/40 possibility.  He might be a 40/60 possibility.  That gets my MVP vote.

Who else ya got for award winners?

    AL MVP Ohtani
    NL MVP Acuna

    AL CY Gerrit Cole
    NL CY Spencer Strider

AL ROY Gunnar might edge out Jung now...
    NL ROY Corbin Carroll
that list seems ;pretty accurate. Only one i'm not sure on is NL MVP. Acuna probably but wouldn't be surprised if Olsen or Freeman won it.

I thought about those two but NO ONE has done 30-60.  That's pretty remarkable.

Second half MVP though is Trea, shit the bed in the first half batting 230, Turner.  That man is on fire.

but really the Giants are tied with the Reds and d-bags for the 3rd WC. Cincy seems to have the most favorable schedule.

look how every round has a sponsor.

Problem is they don't have their pitching staff, nor some of their hitters.  It is a miracle they are still hanging around above .500

    it's up for grabs, F'me.

    Blake Snell?
I thought about him too but I really like Coles numbers even though his team stunk.  I gave him a bunch of shit during the spider tact thing and he was still one of the best pitchers out there.  His era speaks volumes to me but if Snell gets it I wouldn't be mad.

    Good point @Cutz
Blake Snell(Padres) is up  for the NL Cy Young.

Machado isn't the Padres manager.  If there's an issue with clubhouse culture, that's on Melvin.  But let's put the blame on the big contract guy because big contract.

I can't stand Machado, but read the article and it was kinda weak stuff...all stuff you can kinda tell just by looking at him
  • Acuña gets the 40/40 season with a leadoff home run last night! 2 more stolen bases and it will be a 40/70 season.

In the NL, I can't see anyone other than LA, ATL or PHI getting to the WS, I'd say it's almost anyone's game in the AL (not Minny).

yeah, that's a bad one.  He is one of my all time favorite players, even though he was before my time.  Just an incredible run he had mastering 1 position for 1 team.

At this point he may...  I'd get to see him play more and he and Harper are pals.

He is the best 3rd baseman defensively ever.  No slouch behind the plate either.  16 straight Gold Gloves.  The human vacuum cleaner.

    RIP

Watch his part in Ken Burns' Baseball.  It's just a small part but he was truly great.

The human Panda?  Yes.  Not sure how he and Brooksy are in the same sentence though?
  • Both played 3B

Twas a joke. Panda was a turrible defensive 3B. Couldn't bend over to field ground balls.
