there are 3 AL teams I wouldn't mind seeing go all the way :triumph:
    Astros, Tribe, & Twins?

    you got it!

twins have no shot. It'd be nice to see them beat the yankees but I don't even see that happening.
Yankees will be favored to beat the Twins so you should root for the Yankees.

never. even I have SOME standards.

  • Stanton at 59 HR's.  Now that's exciting.

Let's hope that ESPN or someone posts their games.

The Angels have ALWAYS been loyal to people.  Remember Jimmie Reese and the fungo bat?

I love the Angels but I'd like to see a new coach.

    is he going somewhere?

great matchups in the playoffs....some great teams to root for and a few slimy cocksuckers.

After his remarks I'd say he's leaving.

His option comes up in 2020 so let's see if the Marlins trade him or not.

Cardinals are going to make a play for him. They’ve got a backlog of outfielders and cheap pieces. Word is Stanton wants a West Coast team.

I'd love for him to join the Angels!

He has disappointed in some seasons but they were way better than anyone (excluding any pie in the sky homers) thought they would be this season.  Too bad they didn't make it.  Trout is the best.

  • Horrible, Mostly Wrong, Prediction Time:

    AL Wild Card Game:
Santana keeps it close early, the kids on the Yanks are too much late....7-2 Yankees.  Dirty All Rise (Sanchez/Judge) both go yard.

    NL Wild Card Game:
Gray gets destroyed, DBags win 8-2.

ALDS: (These should be best of 7!)
Red Sox/Astros -- Red Sox win in 5.  Astros pitching proves to be their weak spot.
Yanks/Indians -- Indians in 4.  Very close games throughout but Tribe is on a mission & Jay Bruce hits 4 homers in the series.

NLDS:  (These should be best of 7!)
Cubs/Nats - Nats win in 5.  A Cubs fan told me on Saturday that the Cubs "had nobody to worry about other than Cleveland in the WS."  I think that may be what the team is dreaming of as well.  Start finding a reason for a new curse.
Dbags/Doyers - Doyers in 4.  The pitching steps up in the playoffs (finally) for Los Doyers.  @Wobbie cries.

    ALCS:
Red Sox / Indians -- Indians in 6.  Jose Ramirez is the new 'Daddy' to the Sox.

    NLCS:
Dogers/Nationals - Dodgers in 7.  Kershaw pitches in 3 games.  Chris Taylor is best hitter for Dodgers in the series and they still win.

    WS:
Dodgers/Indians -- Headed into the World Series, Edwin Encarnacion is on a savage cold streak.  Jay Bruce again proves to be a good trade, as he employs the time honored baseball tradition of 'The Slump Buster' and sends the nastiest woman they could find in LA to Edwin's door after Game 1.
Edwin answers the door, does the dirty deed....and homers like he never homered before in Games 3, 4, and 5...totaling 7 homers.
    Indians win in 6.

    Will any of this happen?

    Nah.

the wildcard should be a 3 game series.  You play 162 games for one postseason game?   shorten the regular season.

Time for my Twins to pull off the major upset! On top early, but historically known to let the Yanks come back late...nvm, now it's tied already :anguished:
    It's a hopeless situation...

MLB will never shorten the season, because, you probably know why:$$$$$$$$>Even if they did, you can't have the Divisional Winners sitting around waiting for the WC Series to end. Teams are already waiting 3-4 days to start the Divisional Series.

FWIW - I hate both of the cockpony NL wildcard teams but I gotta go dbags, as I see them with a better chance of beating the d**gers.
