Which records are worth the hype?

The title says it all. Some records throughout history get a ridiculous amount of hype and praise thrust upon them. What do you guys think are worthy albums? The ones that still stand the test of time and are truly deserving of being called masterpieces.

I'll throw the first one out there.....Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen. After just watching the 'Wings for Wheels' documentary again and then giving the album another spin I definitely believe this to be a masterpiece and worth the hype it got and still gets.
2006: London Astoria, Lisbon I & II, Paris, Verona, Milano
2007: Wembley, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Nijmegen
2009: Manchester

I mentioned the 5 beatles albums earlier but some more came to mind:

Radiohead- Kid A and OK Computer (the others two but these are the best to me)
    The White Stripes- Elephant
    The National- Boxer
Animal Collective- Merriweather Post Pavillion (my avatar is the pic on the inside of the booklet)
TV on the Radio- Dear Science
Bob Dylan- Blonde on Blonde (really any album from the 60s, Desire from the 70s, and then his last 3 albums- not including the Christmas one)
    Beck- Sea Change
    Dirty Projectors- Bitte Orca
    Fleet Foxes- Fleet Foxes
My Bloody Valentine- Isn't Anything and Loveless
    Pavement- their first 3 albums
    Pixies- Doolittle
    The Who- Quadrophenia
Pink Floyd- Wish You Were Here

All three of these are timeless gems that will never ever ever ever get old or overplayed.

Appetite for Destruction - Slash and Izzy's chemistry is beautiful, and nobody sings like Axl. Sweet Child IS the best guitar solo ever, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
OK Computer - this, not Nevermind, was the album of the 90s.
Songs for the Deaf - the pinnacle of QOTSA. Oliveri on bass, Lanegan sharing vocals, Grohl? You kidding? The Sky is Falling, a thing of beauty.

One thats such an obvious choice, but it's the one album that always instantly pops in my head whenever confronted with this (or simular) question: Pearl Jam - Ten. IMO greatest album ever and has been the most consistant "lean on" album in my life since '93.
    It's all about the music...
