Finally got a chance to pick it up at the record shop on my lunch break, heard it streaming before on the NPR site and when they performed it live but digging it so far. I'm liking Gasoline, No Horse, Die by the Drop, and Blue Blood Blues so far. Just wish it was longer!

There are two hidden tracks on the vinyl, both editions, tri color and black. They are carved into the paper label on either side of the record! No shit!

i see what they are talking about, you don't have to rip the label off, just pull your record out and look at it, you'll see there's some grooves on it

    must go check this out!
    don't compete; coexist

what are you but my reflection? who am i to judge or strike you down?

"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank." - Barack Obama

when you told me 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em'
i was thinkin 'death before dishonor'

drat! my record player won't play that far over :( if i push it over and drop it down real quick it plays for a split second then stops and moves the arm back but there's definitely a song there!

I think we need to seriously start throwing Jack's name around up there with the greatest musicians of all time. The man is that good.
He's definitely getting there. There aren't many that can match the quality and consistency of his work at the moment.

haven't heard it yet but will up against some stiff competition with the black keys and the national.
I'm a massive Black Keys fan (and I think they're a lot better than the White Stripes and the Raconteurs) but 'Brothers' is trailing a distant second to 'Sea of Cowards' at the moment...
Yeah, I know it's different, but who else in rock history has a catalog has good as Jack's... The Beatles, Floyd, Zepp, Bob Dylan... AND he's only 35. I think when all is said and done he will be up there.

    I agree...greatest of his generation.

I guess I'm the only one around here that doesn't care for this album at all? Grant it, I didn't like Horehound either but I have hyped myself up for both Deadweather albums and have been really disappointed by both.
