Per BK (Brad Klausen)---
"there is a poster, but they aren't allowed to sell them at jazz fest... so they will be sold online after the tour like all the others. So if you are there, just enjoy the show and have a good time"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Although... more chances to get it later for us that can't go.0 -
And it appears the one shirt for sale is going to be limited in each city:
TSURT Band News for Pearl Jam: Super proud of this. For the first time ever a band will sell a shirt at the New Orleans Jazz Festival. We have created a special limited edition event shirt that will only be available at the show. This will be the first in a series of shirts done for the 2010 tour dates. Every City gets... there own shirt all shirts done by some jackass named Herbert McCaul.
I'd rather the sports shirts.. this flyer shirt seems kind of blah to me. I wont be rushing for it!0 -

Personally, I think its great that they are mass producing the items. It means there are more available for the fans to buy.
From a business perspective, it makes total sense to mass produce this stuff. Why should flippers benefit from the limited nature of many Pearl jam items? When a poster is sold on Ebay or Ebeans for $100, 10C and Brad aren't getting any additional profit. It is probably pretty cheap to print a poster or t-shirt so why not make lots of them for fans to buy directly from the band as opposed to from a flipper.0 -
That shirt looks like a parking lot bootleg shirt. I think Herb McCaul is the TSURT office cat.0

Yea I just had the shirt in my hands 20 minutes ago to check it out... It's even more ugly in person... Looks like we'll have to wait until Monday to see the real tour merch...
PS If the Given to fly fourm needs a relayer for the show tonight, let me know, I don't mind doing it...Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -
I think it's strange that Jazzfest will make an exception to allow PJ to be the first band to sell a shirt there, but won't allow them to be the first band to sell a poster there9-28-96 Randall’s Island NY; 9-01-00 Camden NJ; 7-05-03 Camden NJ; 10-01-04 Reading PA; 10-03-05 Philly PA; 5-27-06 Camden NJ; 5-28-06 Camden NJ; 6-19-08 Camden NJ; 6-20-08 Camden NJ; 6-24-08 NYC NY; 8-7-08 EV Newark, NJ; 6-11-09 EV Philly PA; 6-12-09 EV Philly PA; 10-27-09 Philly PA; 10-28-09 Philly PA; 10-30-09 Philly PA; 10-31-09 Philly PA; 5-15-10 Hartford CT; 5-18-10 Newark NJ; 5-21-10 NYC NY; 6-21-11 EV NYC NY; 6-22-11 EV NYC NY; 6-25-11 EV Philly PA; 7-1-11 EV StL MS; 9-3-11 E Troy WI; 9-4-11 E Troy WI0
