Watch it go to a fire?

So i was listening to Do the Ev this evening and I was thinking about the oil spill in the gulf and how they are wanting to set it on fire to help clear it up. You know since Pearl Jam has had a bit of a run of songs that "predict" certain events. But anyways, I certainly hope they can minimize the damage as much as they can.

What predictions are you referring to?

Bushleaguer was a successful prediction! The NYC blackouts a few years ago..."blackout weaves it way thru the city!"

haven't been following the news too much lately. I knew about the oil spill but not about them setting it on fire to clear it...cool. so what about the volcano in Iceland? that is technically a smoky fire/ash phenomenon of sorts, right? and how ironic btw that a volcano occured in a place called "Ice"-land--fire and ice--epic.

so, if they wanted to keep to the 2010 fire thing, PJ should do some "fire"-works maybe. for an outdoor concert of course--have they ever done that btw?

Jeremy could be considered a prediction of the Columbine shootings in a way.

On purpose? I don't know, but at Lollapalooza in '07 there were fireworks going off during the show. They were as surprised as anyone.

2003 in Camden during 4th of July weekend. That show was the balls. In the middle of the set they played RITFW for the people in the back. Philly, 4th of July, RITFW....'twas amazing.
