Maybe I'm really pressing my luck here Santos, but will the volumes be closer to old tours (ie get in there ASAP!) or like 2009 (many copies seemed to be available not because of demand but because of large runs)?
As always, thanks!
I would be very happy if they initially had it hard to get, then flood the market with them. It will only hurt people flipping.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you.

If there aren't going to be pre-sales, I am really hoping that they do large runs on the posters.
Nothing is more frustrating than not being able to buy a print at the show.
I doubt they'd go from really limited to crazy high amounts and then back to really limited. They might try to find a middle ground, but I bet it won't be so bad. I hope... and dont sell posters outside of MSG unless you have boatloads please!
no matter how big the run is they will sell out .... show prints 2,000... APs ltd to about 300... virants ltd to about 75 ..foil print ltd to about 25.. 10c .... you will be able to buy about 5 different copies of his print

Super psyched that Emek is doing a poster, please god let it be one of my shows (Jazzfest, Hartford or Boston)... however, I don't know how they are going to do a big run, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the largest poster run I've ever seen him do is 1000 (Coachella 2007)... this shit could get expensive... damn....
Also really interested in the Hampton (my first print ever is from the audioslave post-neo series) and always love BK's work.... man-o-man...
I really hope I don't have to fight for these at the show... looks like I'll be there when the doors open and drinking $8 beers all night...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
I was pissed I didn't get one in Hartford 2008! I'm not missing out this time!

I hope the posters are nicer for this tour...last year's posters were so ugly...
I agree. Glad we didn't see Tom Tomorrow's name on that list!

Right? I mean, I didn't go to any of the Philly shows last year and I kinda felt bad for all the people wanting awesome posters and ending up with the stinkers on their walls. I think Tom's work is ok, but not a lot of creativity in the Philly posters.

I've got a theory on the Emek already.... sorry, I got super excited when I saw his name, so I started thinking about it....
I've never seen an Emek run larger than 1000 or not signed and numbered, so here's what I'm thinking:
There's only 2 possible locations where the Emek can be: Jazzfest or NYC.
I think they'll do something similar to what they did last year in Seattle and ACL, where they have a massed produced poster for the show, and a small run, limited edition S/N poster thats more expensive...
Chances are the only two spots where they're going to have enough people to do that are the 2 nights at MSG or the Jazzfest show....
I'm betting it will probably be NYC... even though I'm going to Jazzfest :(
Does this seem logical to anyone else?

Oh mama! And the biggest drawback to buying from EMEK is the paypal nightmare. How many Pearl Jam fan's & non Pearl Jam fan's will be on his site trying for a signed & numbered, variant, foil etc.. prints. It's gonna be madness. It's gonna be .. SPARTA!!!! :P

My only request, you keep the print runs super high like the last tour so they sit in the goods section for all to have if they so choose.

those will be a bitch to get
I just read in the NY times that HBO is airing a documentary on the spectrum May 4th
perhaps that has something to do with the delay
but of course
thats just masturbatory speculation

It would've been one thing had he tried and failed, but he phoned it in with reusing a lot of his old art in a boring template.
Yeah, I said it!
