We can't control the weather but it doesn't sound like it is going to be that bad...no ice bowl and all the 10C members should be sheltered from the rain...

Any suggestions/tips from those in the know about less-congested routes into and out of the venue? Driving in from the Courtyard by Marriott in Castleton, IN (11 miles from the venue).

Also, any options for off-site parking within walking distance of the venue?

    Thanks for any insight offered.

It's too early to tell... we were supposed to get 2-3 inches of rain this past weekend and wound up with .6 :)

I'll trade you. We got upwards of 18 inches down here in Nashville. With all the flooding, it's a good time to get away for a couple of Pearl Jam shows...

The forecast is not looking promising unfortunately. However, weather is always unpredictable and it may not rain at all. If it does storm hopefully it moves out before the show starts or arrives after the show ends...

    haha black diamond, good one...

Anyways, just checked the weather, good news and bad news. According to the hourly, it will probably rain. but the good news is when Pearl Jam goes on, it should still be 70 out, and by the time the show ends it should still be above 60. So it won't be as miserable as it could be.

a light rain might not be a bad thing for us pavillion people. it could reduce the lawn crowd and lead to an easier exit, although it could also lead to a shorter show.

i still don't understand why they are playing an outdoor venue in early may.

Wow outlook is not sounding good.. this storm is supposed to come right around showtime is what they're saying now.

Anyone in the area heard any updates? Poster above said it's supposed to be north of venue?

Look at Weather.com if you want a corporation in Atlanta doing your forecast.

I would strongly recommend you use the National Weather Service office in Indy. Here is the link to their main page.

Here is a link to their forecast. This gets updated several times a day.

If you are a weather enthusiast, the "Forecast Discussion" is the analysis and thinking behind the forecast. Where the forecasters analyze the computer models, satellite and other data and reason out what the forecast is. This is essentially the thinking behind the forecast. If the chance of rain is, say, 30%, you'll see why the confidence is low. Here is a link to the Forecast Discussion.

Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river

Is it bad that I'm not that worried about rain? For someone who didn't decide to go until last minute and got lawn seats, I think rain may be good to keep away those who would rather talk than listen to the music.

Hope not either. I know last year there was lightning at the Phish show and I guess they sent everybody to their cars for an hour and then ended playing until like 1am.

Nice night to enjoy your pretty yellow PJ rain slicker.

I honestly still wish I was going to be there, rain or shine. NO dice though.

Even in a slogged pair of shoes, I would be a happy bastard.
