Its Indiana. In May. Your guess is as good as the weathermans.

You might need a parka. Or shorts and a tanktop. Or both. Gotta love that Indiana consistant weather.
    Midwest. Indy/Lafayette.

yeah, living in this part of the country makes it VERY difficult to forecast the weather, ESPECIALLY in March, April, and May. We could hit the 90's... or hit a low of mid 30's.... Could storm, rain, drizzle, humid, dry, hot, cold... Gotta love it!!! Actually for those of us who have lived in this area, we have just learned not to watch the weather til about 2 days before (and even then watch the next 2 days b/c it can STILL change some).

So in other words, when are you leaving to head to Indy? If not til a day or two before then wait til next Wednesday to get a better idea!

I'll be keeping an eye on this. I am going to the Columbus and Cleveland shows and live in Columbus. I am thinking about driving over to Indy for the show, and getting a lawn seat, but if the weather doesn't look very favorable, I might have to pass.

hopefully by the time the show rolls around, we won't be too cold or too hot out there,...

Don't even look at the weather this far out. Three days before on weather.com you will start getting a pretty good idea of what it is going to be like. You are looking at a general computer model that is basicly a educated guess. It may end up that way but really they won't have a solid idea till a couple days before.

Today the forecast reads 67/49 with a 10% of rain. Truthfully, for May in the midwest, we need to be happy if thats the forecast, it could be way worse. But yes, by the time the show wraps up at 11 pm, it will be fairly chilly I am sure.

Hopefully people not from the midwest can see now why it's generally not worth the time to look at the weather more than a couple days away. With that said, as of noon EST on Sunday, the weather for Indy is now forecast at: 78/46 with a 30% chance of scattered thunder storms.

Me too, but I can't help but look! To me, if it says rain then it probably won't rain-it's just how it seems to work out. No matter, there is going to be so much energy in the place we won't feel the cold or the rain!!

it's still pretty early to say for sure....

we were suppose to get thunderstorms and heavy rain this past sat night. this was as off mid afternoon on sat. i don't recall any thunder. point is, the temp forecast should be decent, but the rain/no rain....forget about it.

not that i'm complaining, but it sure seems odd to book an outdoor show so early in the season.

If it rains, I believe that 4 out of the last 5 outdoor shows I've gone too have been plagued by rain. What the F%ck!

my good outdoor karma shall offset your bad outdoor karma and we shall have a cool over cast day with no rain.

i've been to two outdoor PJ shows (columbus 2000 and bonnaroo) both were absolutly perfect.

Who knows, a thunderstorm could lead to a special set. I am not sure what songs they could play to make it special, but I used to work at a local, no-longer open, amplitheater, and I will always remember when Bauhaus opened for Nine Inch Nails and a wicked storm rolled through as they provided the perfect soundtrack. As long as no one gets hurt, it can make for some cool visuals to go along with the show.

Im from cleveland...going to columbus then over to indy...ive been watching the weather and basically there is a cold front blowing thru sometime between thurs-sat...there will likely be thunderboomers or rain at some point on friday...and it will for sure get rather chilly by the end of the night...windy too. Chilly...but no ice bowl...at least that is what im hoping for! :) Now I think its going to be HOT on thursday in Columbus...and it will probably be cold and rainy/cloudy in Cleveland...thats how we do it!
Seems that needlessly it's getting harder
To find an approach and a way to live
Are we getting something out of this
    all-encompassing trip?
