    Got shut out of Phish tickets and I was itching to go to MSG in December so I pulled the trigger on My Morning Jacket tickets. Can't wait. 1 month!
    Plus I like Band of Horses so this should be a great show.

    I just now saw that MMJ is going to be in Dallas next month!! :shock: I always miss out on the concert announcements. :lol: Oh well...I'll be there.

    Saw them open for PJ a couple of times in 06 and once at Stubb's in Austin...great live band..looking forward to next month's show...It's a nice surprise since I wasn't planning on it. :D

    Okay, so anyone who's a fan of pre-Z MMJ must check out the Atlanta 04 show steam engine just posted. Hands down the best sounding boot from that era. Check out this setlist!!!!

    Anyone purchase tickets to that soundcheck party? It's pretty pricey but it comes with 1 year of fan club membership and a few other extras. Is the main draw that you get to sit in on the soundcheck? I haven't purchased tickets yet so still waiting to decide what to do.

    I can burn and mail you guys copies if ur worried about virus stuff. I listened to it last night into the early morning while doing work. It's amazing. Probably the best boot I've ever heard from them.

    The I Will Sing You Songs jam at the end is worth the price of admission. Just One Thing is amazing. Cobra ( :D Twisted) is so tight and How Do You Know might be my new favorite MMJ tune.

    I simply cannot get enough of this Atlanta 04 show.

    No idea Dan. I haven't joined the roll call yet actually myself. I don't recall who, but someone on this thread this summer did the Merriweather Post Pavillion pre-party thing but not sure how it went.

    If your into the band, you need to join. They send you a bunch of cool shit and you get great seats. I think I was like 15 rows center at the Boston show. Closest to the stage I have ever been at that venue (place only holds like 5000). 4 ticket limit but seriously, if you buy more than that for friends thinking they're going to go, your bound to get stuck with a ticket or two. Thats just how it goes usually.

    hoping they mix up the set a little more since this is their second go round.

    Going tomorrow night in LA. I was initially going to pass since I saw them at the small KCRW show earlier this year and had 1st row the following night at the Pantages which was completely amazing. Couldn't resist the soundcheck deal though and won some extra tickets for some friends. Looking forward to it!
