Booked the travel package for Chicago.  $600 a man for three nights tickets and hotel.  Tickets are lower orch row L on Carl's side. May end up in Philly or NY as well.

That travel package sounds like a solid deal.
It is and the seats are great. I was surprised how easy it was.  Love seeing these shows back to back.

I don’t miss this. Struck out on both Forest Hills Shows. But luckily their double the price on Stubhub! Yay.
Exactly why I chose to go to Chicago. Three shows for the price of one in NYC!

Easily scored tickets in 2019. Now two nights and instant sell out for both?

I was hoping for a Los Angeles show, but since they are playing Ohana instead, I will have to settle for a 1-hour festival set.

One hour. You think? I was thinking at least 90-120 minute set

It is a different world.  Demand for live shows will be very high. And there is the issue with limited numbers of tickets being released in the first place, as is often the case with NYC shows.

Based on prior years, the 2nd-billed acts get 60 minutes.

I’m sure only a fraction of the tickets were sold today.  Most will be sold on Friday.

Hopefully they play an "Alt-Rock" set as opposed to a "jamband" set!

Alt Rock set. I’d take this:

    First Light
    Aluminum Park
    Compound Fracture
    Im Amazed
    Holdin On to Black Metal
    Circuital
    Wordless Chorus
    One Big Holiday

Totally forgot about the pre-sale (and that I was on the Forest Hills email list from last time in 2019), and ended up logging on 15 min late at 10:15. By some miracle, scored a GA pair for the Friday night show. This will be my 8th MMJ show, but my college roomie's 1st! Such a beautiful venue and area. So happy this is happening-

VIP worth it? Sure seems like it but thought I’d double check with people may have done it before. Would already buy a poster and the backpack and ear plugs seem like a solid value.
