Okay peeps 8/10 will be my first MMJ show. I'm excited to say the least. What can I expect? How soon should I plan on being there to pick up my tickets and get in line for a decent spot? What's the merch situation like? Are posters available on their site or sold outside the venue?

Now I just need to convince one of my friends to go with me. I'm on my own in my group of friends being a fan of MMJ.

Wish they were doing more intimate shows with the VIP package still (soundcheck/signed poster).....hard to top back-to-back nights in Detroit and C-bus from a couple of summers ago......hopefully new album/early 2018 tour/no WonderfulUnion involvement/ Deluxe membership ends up happening

Very easy. Got my two for Columbus. Beats stressing over the lottery lol
i went back to bed and forgot about the tix, pit/floor seats were gone for Maryland but was able to get decent seat nonetheless.

Columbus is all GA. I'm sure that made it easier than other shows.
that's cool, yeah MPP is like most outdoor amphitheaters, small ga/pit, than some seats, than lawn

Couldn't resist buying tix for their Portland, ME show. First time catching them. Should be a great time. Can't wait to see what the venue looks like... middle of summer, on the water, surrounded by beer gardens and amazing tunes. Also looking forward to seeing Gary Clark open for MMJ, too!

Hometown show for me! Can't wait. Going to be a great summer night. If you're into craft beer, go early and check out Bissell Brothers brewery, which is next to the venue (and there's a wine cellar right next door too.) Or go real early and check out the city. You won't be disappointed.

Anybody know a good site for some freebie soundboard MMJ boots? Looking for more recent stuff.

OnIy place I've found MMJ soundboard recordings is Live Downloads.
The boots from One Big Holiday 2017 were just released last week.
There are tons of audience recordings out there on the MMJ forum...some are really good!!

They won't have any recent shows,
and I'm not even sure if it's still active...
but I found tons of great boots here too:

That's awesome Cantkeepmedown! I'm really looking forward to this concert and checking out Thompson's Point for the first time. I can't believe how many great bands are coming to Maine this year. The venue sounds like a great place to catch a show in the summer. Will definitely go for some Bissell Brothers brews, too. I live about an hour north of Portland and like to hit the old port a few hours before a show with my friends, when we can. So many great pubs and restaurants (wished I lived closer sometimes!) The Thirsty Pig is a great place for getting Bissell on tap.

I love the Thirsty Pig. Start down on Wharf St at Mash Tun (best collection of craft beers in town, IMO). Walk up to the Thirsty Pig, then up to Nosh Kitchen Bar, then uber down to Thompson's Point. Perfect day, haha. Enjoy bud!

I went through setlists.com today and figured out that there are only 5 studio tracks I have not gotten live. And they are probably my least favorite songs which is pretty awesome.

I'll bet most of them are from Tennessee Fire.
You're doing way better than me...
I need 7 songs from TF alone!!!
    I don't have these:
Death Is The Easy Way, Honest Man, I Needed It Most, It Smashes Down & Just Because I Do from At Dawn
Rolling Back & One And The Same from It Still Moves
    Into The Woods from Z
Two Halves, Look At You, Remnants and Good Intentions from Evil Urges
    Moving Away from Circuital
Get The Point from The Waterfall
    I've never got Cobra either!!

TTF: They Ran, By My Car, Picture of You
ISM: Just One Thing, One in the Same

Helps that I saw At Dawn, Z and Evil Urges in their entirety in 2010.

Cobra is incredible and tied with Dondante for my favorites. Check these out if you have not heard them: Cobra from 10/19/10 and Dondante from 12/28/12.
