Song isn’t bad. Not great. But I always thought their album versions of songs were mediocre. It’s live where this band thrives.
When they did this shit night 3 of their Chicago Theatre run my mind was blown in a way that just doesn't happen much anymore. I was watching it on livestream and it was killing me not to be there.

I went all three nights and traveled from New York. Travel package from the band included four night hotel stay near the theater plus great seats for something like $600 a man. Probably the best three nights of live MMJ I have seen. That includes Radio City, the Beacon (Thanksgiving run - I forget the year, and is a close second), Terminal 5 shows, and a run at Red Rocks. I will give the new record a fair listen. But I 100% agree that MMJ is best heard live. I do not even really listen to their records. I hope I can make it to their shows in 2025.

One of the other nights was Z in reverse right? Just incredible shows. I'm jealous.
