I have this VIP thing and I'm supposed to get there early to get my place on the rail or whatever. Ain't gonna happen. I'll be close enough to get my face melted.

i had VIP seats at the Beacon, 6th row seated.....they gave us a cool blanket /Poster on the way in.....poster is tour poster, wonder if the VIP gifts are the same for all shows or specific?

I got hooked up thru work, nice seeing a free show here & there considering how much i spend on shows  :|

I'm honestly not sure how MMJ isn't the biggest band on the planet.  Their live shows are unbelievable. What a setlist tonight in Boston.  Roadrunner was way too small for them...jammed.  Can't wait for the next show.

That show was incredible. I'm really surprised they didn't have 2 nights booked there. Hadn't seen them in an indoor room that small since the 2015 Orpheum shows.

Not rock enough for play on rock radio stations.
Not pop enough for play on pop radio stations.

I've never heard a MMJ song on the radio.

JJ is such a talent.  I agree they absolutely kill and deserve a bigger following.  However, it's nice to see them in smaller venues like the Beacon and Forrest Hills.  After 20+ years, it is what it is.

They show up on WXPN but not nearly as much as somebody like Jason Isbell. They are basically a genre-less band. Guess it's just one of those things.

I was looking at the setlist for the MMJ 2021 show at The Mann. I forgot the "MMJ" album hadn't come out yet. So Philly will be seeing most of those songs for the first time.

I think it came out like right after that. They were definitely touring for that album but weren't playing too many from that album. I feel like I remember them playing love love love and regularly scheduled programming. I think Brittany Howard opened and the whole thing was great up front.

Only Regularly Scheduled Programming was released at the time of the show. The album had been announced but nothing released but the single. Great show

I would just appreciate Cobra in full (which is a reach I know), outside of that just looking for a good time. Which should be had.

It was definitely a prediction, rather than what I want, which of course there is plenty of overlap. I've been seeing Cobra on a bunch of their sets so that's why I put it in there.

I'm exhausted! Awesome show, but i got home at like 1AM and had to be at work at like 4 am (so i'm running on fumes). Nice mixture of songs. Heard 3 off Tennessee Fire which I hadn't heard before. Also O is the One that is Real was pretty awesome. Also finally heard Dondante after 7 shows. Somehow still have never heard Dancefloors yet, maybe tonight? Madi Diaz was pretty amazing as well.

Holy crap and Night 2 was even better than the first (IMO). They actually opened w/Dancefloors  One Big Holiday was thrown in the middle of the set list. That Run Thru jam was pretty f-ing awesome! Heard a few more songs I hadn't heard live before (Where to Begin and Thank You Too!). Nothing off the last two albums which I was ok with since they weren't up there as my favs. Overall night 1 may have had a better set list, but I think night 2 the crowd was more into it and had a better vibe and I just had a better time. Great shows overal though. Might post some pics later.

Only made it to night 2, but my lord they were perfect. Setlist, performance, crowd, sound at The Met, perfect. If there is a tighter band out there right now I’d really be shocked. What a great night
