    Damn, bought the album/cd on Friday along with the latest strand of oaks album (support band and local record store). Unfortunately my computer is the only way to play cd’s now and I haven’t used the cd part in a long time. Put the cd in and iTunes read it and all but when I went to play/import it nothing happened. Just kept making these weird noises like it was trying to “read” it.

    Listened to it through youtube. so didn't really get the full experience but overall I liked it a lot. Better than Waterfall II, IMO.

    2 copies on clear vinyl both sound horrible, to be honest. Why have 50 colored variants if they all sound like shit. Just give me a quality vinyl and I could care less if its just black. 

    If anyone finds a good version, please let me know. Trying the Target vinyl next..

    A few listens in. Definitely more of a grower. Better than Waterfall 1/2. 

    Favs are Love Love Love, In Color, Least Expected, Penny for your Thoughts, and I Could Never Get Enough. 

    Next tier is Never in the real World and Devils in the Details. 
    Honestly starting to love it all.

    I like the back end better than the first couple of songs.  Loving Complex and Penny for your thoughts.

    If anyone cares, I went thru 2 clear vinyl with horrible nonfill throughout side 1, both almost identical. Got the Target edition and there is no such issue. Still not a nice pressing, lots of service noise on sides 1 and 4, slight warp on the 2nd LP, but tolerable compared to the clears. Its just a shame that you pay $30 for a “tolerable” vinyl at this point.

    I went through Amazon. Heard there are good clear copies so I’ll just put their return policy to good use until I get one

    My clear copy from Amazon sounds really good. I did a spin clean before playing.

    I bought the new 3-Lp live release. But I'm not that into their latest album. So will chill with the new one.

    Going to see them tonite in BHAM....stoked!! :sunglasses: They've a long running friendship w/ a radio show host/music lover who's based in Birmingham and who, I think, played an early role in getting their music out to the masses, and always put on a great show while here.

    Holy shit this live stream tonight from Alabama! 2 hours and 25 minutes into this now...

    It was a joy seeing them in Forest Hills but this is hitting.....different tonight. Was glad to donate to the mental health cause as well as someone with Bipolar II.

    Fuckin blown away by this stream. Whoever directed it and was in charge of the sound should be awarded. It was perfect. The band sounded on point all night and the set was fantastic. New songs sound so much better live!

    What a great stream. Sound, direction. The lights and set were incredible. Top notch. Really enjoyed it. And was easy to get. I stopped trying with the PJ ones.

    Was able to be at the Birmingham show on friday, at the very front on Jims side. This was show 51 for me and possibly in my top five. Just an absolutely joy to see them and they somehow always amaze me. Been seeing them since 2003 and there is STILL nothing like a My Morning Jacket concert.

    The stream was other worldly. Can’t imagine how it  was to be there.
