One great thing about the Harp is that there are no windows in the bar area facing TD Banknorth, so the whole area will be rocking to PJ tunes.

    Will Call 3pm

    Harp 4pm

    TD Banknorth 7pm

Please close with Indifference and open w/Release (or Long Road). Either openers could be dedicated to Mr. Zinn.

The countdown begins......1 week people and the official PJ Holiday is upon us. This is so awesome, don't you just love the anticipation?

Also, give your self plenty of time to get into Boston if you're an outta-stater. Traffic can be brutal afer 4pm.

Volcanic ash permitting I'll be there for pre-party.Was gonna go on Sunday night when I arrive, but not sure now.
Anyone recommend a pub for a weary traveller to chill out and have a few beers instead of the Harp.
Looking forward to meeting some new friends.

the whole front of the bar is windows that face causeway st and eventually the fleececenter... and the whole back left side is windows which also probably can see it... if you really tried

    hence my confusion ;)

So we will potentially NOT be rocking out due to the sheer number of windows?

    I am disappointed.

i'm confused... both about windows and your plans

you're coming in sunday? or monday? on sunday it should be quiet down there but there are still a few bars...

    mcgann's is an irish pub
the red hat is a cozy local place with pitchers of mudslides and decent wings/pub food
DJs at the Garden is a fancy sports bar ... actually it's too fancy to be a bar
a short walk away is fanueil hall/quincy market... lots of stuff here... tourists and locals
    - hard rock is here
lots of stuff is close by

i am pretty sure that windows will not hinder the rocking out

If I recall, the Harp has a downstairs as well. This may allow more
    rocking.

I have 7 rocking chairs in my house now that we have a baby.
    It's nuts.

Will Call opens at 3, right? I'm thinking about getting there early after reading what people went through in Noblesville... but it would be nice to pop into the Harp for a pre-preparty beer first.

The Nephew will be joining me, but I'm not sure what time. I will be sitting in a corner, quietly trying to figure out who's who.

Oddly, the number of doors has no quantifiable effect.

Here's hoping the guy that shouted "Drop the Leash" almost the entire Eddie Vedder show in Boston (and is heard on my boot of the show) never makes it to the Garden. Requesting/Screaming "Drop the Leash" at an EV solo show is wrong on so many levels.

Was that Night 1 or Night 2? I was at Night 2 and people were still talking about the inappropriate number of screaming requests for various PJ songs. Can you imagine "Leash" at the Opera House? I loved it when Eddie made a wry comment about "uncultured bastards" or whatever.

that's one of the worst things i've ever heard in my entire life. That would drive me insane.
