if worst comes to worst man (if ya have a lil extra dough), by airfare standards, it wasn't too too bad flyin out of providence for the show for me with the bro. greyhound also goes there, and would be cheaper. but yea, id look on inforoo for rides if ya wanna go that route.

I'm thinking the most encompassing setlist of their career, and not something like this. no in the middle of the city, need to cut set short because of curfew atmosphere here.

My 4th Roo, and I'm doing VIP for the first time. I can't wait.

I haven't seen Metallica in over 10 years, so I'm excited for them. I think they'll surprise a lot of people who are bitching about their inclusion. Sigur Ros will hopefully be doing a late night set (and ideally not on the same night as MMJ). Plant/Krauss, Willie, BB King, Levon Helm, Cat Power, Swell Season, Umphrey's, Iron & Wine...

Seriously, this lineup is amazing, even without Pearl Jam.

I certainly hope for th5e latter of those options. I think the regular Roo crowd would prefer a more diverse set as opposed to greatest hits.

*****Basically what this means is that you can not camp out in front of the actual stage all day and be front row for every set on the Main Stage. What you can do, is sit all day in line against the wall (kind of shaded for part of the day) and wait for your band's set (for us, PJ will probably be at about 8:30 or 9:00pm) So that that means sitting and waiting in line next to the stage (you can definitely hear and partially see every What Stage act that day, and of course once you make friends in line, you hold places for food/drinks/bathroom runs).******

So would you have to wait all day, or most of the afternoon to get in the pit area?

I will be in attendance at Bonnaroo with my lil brother and a friend.

Looking forward to seeing Pearl Jam, OBVIOUSLY...

Death Cab, Rilo Kiley, Willie Nelson, Metallica, DJ Tiesto, Lez Zeppelin, Robert Plant, OAR, Tegan & Sara, Iron & Wine... and the list goes on and on....

why wouldn't you be able to wait at the front of the main stage?

It won't be released for at least another month..likely right at the end of May.

oh and I'm going to Bonnaroo...looking forward to seeing PJ, Plant, Raconteurs, Drive by Truckers, Les Claypool, Gogol Bordello, BB King, and many others like Ben Folds, MMJ, Chris Rock, RR, Levon Helm and Derek Trucks...may even check out bands I don't know much about such as Willie Nelson, Iron and Wine, !!!, Battles, and Chromeo...so many great acts in the bill!

I'll be there with my brother and his roommate. Will be our first Pearl Jam show. They aren't really fans at all and aren't really into good music at all (My brother loves Daughtry and Nickelback along with mostly anything on country radio and his roommate is more into rap). I really hope the festival will open their eyes!
