    Good stuff guys.

Kudos to -decodified- for listing CAKE. Great minds.

I've noticed some of ya have listed 5 not including our best boys, so my alternative selection, after much thought, will be the Decemberists.

I liked the Decembrists a lot until The Hazards of Love, I couldn't get into that.
Their earlier stuff is certainly superior, but I thought the Hazards of Love performed live in it's entirety kicked major ass.

    1. Michael Franti and Spearhead...gives the most entertaining and fun concerts around especially for the price, which is sometimes free. :D

    2. RUSH...even though expensive they haven't dissappointed me once in the 40+ shows I've seen.

    3. Ben Harper & R7 and TIC...Great up on stage and comedic backstage

    4. U2...expensive, at times out of touch but put on a good show

    5. Pearl Jam...they should tour more often and leave fans wet with sweat.

    Honorable Mention: Joe Satriani....Living Colour

    Peace
*We CAN bomb the World to pieces, but we CAN'T bomb it into PEACE*...Michael Franti

*MUSIC IS the expression of EMOTION.....and that POLITICS IS merely the DECOY of PERCEPTION*
    .....song_Music & Politics....Michael Franti

*The scientists of today think deeply instead of clearly. One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite INSANE*....Nikola Tesla(a man who shaped our world of electricity with his futuristic inventions)

    Here goes:

    1. Pearl Jam
    2. Black Keys (Brothers = Black Keys' No Code...gonna take some time, but I will grow to love this album the most of theirs)
    3. Ben Harper (better with the Innocent Criminals until about 2000, but quite awesome with R7 too)
    4. The Roots (AMAZING live band, stole the show at Lolla '07)
    5. Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band (one of the best shows. period.)

Hon. Mention - Michael Franti & Spearhead - amazing live show as well.
  • Pearl Jam
    The White Stripes
    Radiohead (The Bends - Amnesiac)

Number 4 and 5 can be any two from Alice In Chains, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, (early) U2, (early) Metallica, Rolling Stones and a few others. The top three are the only consistent ones and everything else switches around quite a lot, dependant on my mind state and what I'm listening to. Very difficult to decide.
It's gonna be a glorious day...

I'm very pleased that so many of us Pearl Jammers love the Jacket. I could see 15-20 more years of touring for Pearl Jam and 25-30 more years of touring for MMJ.
