The video does expose some nut jobs but the source of the video had an agenda. It would be similar to a Colts fan putting together a 2009 New England Patriots high-light film.

except for the part i mentioned a few posts up. having the crowd chant that is more than 'some nut jobs' that is a majority of the group who obviously agree with it otherwise they wouldn't be chanting.

Wow. I love it when people protest and have no idea what they are protesting about except for catchy terms they cannot define. My favorite statement was that Obama was going to ban fishing. yea..... I also loved the irony of the Freedom Works Foundation podium (an organization run by Dick Armey, a true small government representative and unbiased lobbyist, lol) that had a Lord from England speaking (maybe they really believe it is a tea bagging party in the 1700's ??) and he gives kudos out to Fox news and all its anchors for their great job spreading the teabagging truth. A great watch, thanks for posting.
Check the state of Oregon in regards to the fishing statement. This is true . Fishing as we know it here in this state will be changed. and YES, I do fish, I was just out this past weekend. GO TEABAGGERS!

Limiting fishing of an endangered salmon species is totally different than banning fishing.

I didn't watch the video, but did they really say no EPA??? That must be some kind of joke. Right? :?

    Yup.

    1st person:
"...get rid of some agencies that we don't need..."

    2nd person
"..getting rid of the Dept. of Education, getting rid of the EPA, getting rid of the IRS..."

    3rd person:
    "Q: Social Security?
A: Absolutely, get rid of it
    Q: Dept of Education?
    A: Yup
    Q: EPA?
A: Yup. You can go all the way through, get rid of all of it"

But then the next interviewee says that we do need help for the under-privileged and things that help the country like infrastructure and education. So who knows ...

    Wow. :(

Good first video. These people are truly brainwashed by there liberal medias . Now lets post this video over and over and over and over and while we're at it maybe we can think up an insulting name for them. But let's not....we really don't need to stoop to that level.

I'd love to see a poll or something. Seems like every time someone says this movement wants x, y, or z (and it's criticized), someone else says that's not what they want. Seems like if you're going to have a movement you must define your positions - though I guess the tactic is that if you don't define your position you can never be criticised. Of course, even if they did their own poll, I don't doubt that the findings would be denied as well in the face of criticism.

We're you saying then - let's hear what the other side has to say?

Dude!!!!! WHO CARES WHERE ANYBODY WAS THEN OR NOW ????
    WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE.

But to answer you question. Yes

Actually, a LOT of people care where anybody was then.

The Tea Party supporters can claim all they want that they're not racist, but these protests didn't happen when Bush created a mammoth debt and ruined the economy, they didn't happen when he opted to continue reading a childrens book instead of responding to a terrorist attack, and they didn't happen when he passed a bill into law that allowed law enforcement to wiretap the public without a warrant. These people had eight years to protest - and they didn't.

But the moment an African American takes office? Suddenly people are packing the streets protesting high taxes, when 95% of the country just got a tax CUT and the tax rates are the lowest they've been in years. They're protesting having their civil liberties taken away because the president made health insurance affordable for people. They're protesting a ban on fishing THAT DOESN'T BAN FISHING. They're protesting bank bailouts - when those bailouts started under the previous president. They're claiming he is a foreigner, when he was born in America (Yahamita: in Hawaii, birth certificates are electronic. If you want a printed copy, you get a Certificate of Live Birth. It is certified with a stamp. Obama's Certificate of Live Birth has been authenticated by the State of Hawaii. And, just in case you saw the bogus Kenyan birth certificate online, take a good hard look at the country of origin - the "Republic of Kenya" did not exist until three years AFTER Obama was born. Can we lay this retarded argument to rest now?).

For all of the things Bush did wrong, the Tea Party was nowhere to be found.

But the moment the president changed skin color, 70,000 people show up in D.C. to protest things that aren't real.

I don't doubt for a minute that a lot, maybe the majority, of Tea Party members aren't racist. But to an outsider, it certainly looks that way. A white president runs the country into the ground, and you have scattered, moderately-well attended protests around the country. A black president tries to fix things (and whether or not his plans will work won't be known for some time, unless you have a DeLorean or Rufus in a phone booth), and suddenly a news network is sponsoring protests where 70,000 people are marching and complaining about things that aren't real.

So yeah, to a lot of people, WHEN you started protesting makes a HUGE difference.

If you protested the PATRIOT act because it was an invasion of your personal freedoms, then we're cool - complain about Obama all you want. But if you didn't start protesting about your freedoms being taken away until Obama tried to make you buy cheap health insurance, then we've got problems. Because then you look like someone who either has a problem with the president because he is black, or you're someone who is buying the Glenn Beck kool-aid by the gallon.
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.
