I'm about to rehearse with tonight's super secret special guests. Psyched!

(yes, I know its 99.9999% not Pearl Jam but I figured this is more fun than another 5/18 thread) 8-)

    If I'm not mistaken, he is doing two dates in Seattle and last nights musical guest was DMB. So I would say tonight there is a chance of PJ. Could be DMB again though

    Amazing, incredible show tonight. Awesome crowd... And AMAZING special guests. Who showed up, you ask? How about this guy talking to Conan:

    You know him as... Eddie Vedder.

    EDDIE. VEDDER.

    Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready were nice enough to stop by our little show this evening and work their musical magic for us all. And it. was. AWESOME. Eddie first came out by himself, and armed only with a mandolin, entranced the crowd with a beautiful version of "Rise up". Then he picked up an electric ukelele, and after making a few jokes about how he likes to play small intruments because it makes him look taller (which he then added is ruined by Conan when Conan walks onstage), Eddie then played a version of the John Lennon classic "Oh Yoko"... But sang "Oh Coco" instead! Eddie asked the crowd to participate, saying that the song was like a birthday card to Conan, and if the crowd sang along, it would be like they were signing it! I was watching from backstage, literally welling up. It was delicate and beautiful. The crowd sang along wholeheartedly.

    Then, friends. THEN, fellow Pearl Jam bandmate Mike McCready came out onstage, and Eddie, Mike, and our band ROCKED the crowd to within an inch of their lives with a bombastic and electric version of "Baba O'Riley", by The Who!!! I can't really put into words how absolutely incredible it was. Suffice to say, it might have been the best single thing I have ever seen in my whole life. Just stunning. Thank you guys for coming by and making our last show in Seattle so special.

    So how do you top such an insane show? If you guessed "getting on a bus and driving 15 hours to San Francisco", you're right!! As I write this, I am sitting in the rear lounge of the bus with Winslow, Cronick, and Crotteau as our 10 person bus hurtles down the highway in the complete darkness.

    Seattle, thank you for your hospitality.

    San Francisco, PREPARE YOURSELF.

    He's not allowed to air anything until his NBC contract is up. That's why he's doing the tour and not jumping into a new show right away.

    Hopefully (and I would not be surprised if it happens) he will be able to put out like a best of the tour DVD and I could see one or all of those songs being on there.
