    It's funny, the two pictures above are exactly the same looks I got when I told them they are playing on the 18th at the Rock (30 minutes from my house)

    Unfortunately, the older has orchestra concert that night :(

    My 10 & 8 year-old sons are hoping for "Garden" and "Supersonic" respectively in Columbus. See you at the Noblesville pre-party? My boys are not taking in that show, but I'll be there so hope to hear Breakerfall that night.

    I guess that I am an a$$h*le for thinking that it is just a little bit greedy of you to come on here and ask for acknowlegement again after you got everything you wanted last year.. Sorry to pee in the cherrios this morning.. Just seems like you would be grateful and not ask twice.. We ALL want to hear some particular song because it has either become linked to a big moment in our lives or is linked to the people we love or have lost.. Just let Ed check the vibe of the place and play what's in his and the other guys hearts.. This is what made the EV solo shows in Nashville last year so special... He has a way with tuning into the universe/spirits/(insert your own mythology here) and presenting a set that transcends our favorites and requests and usually resounds intensely with most of us on a deeper level than "my kid really likes this song so you gotta play it"...
    In fact there are certain songs that I really don't want to hear, but may need to hear in Columbus or Indy... My mother passed away 2 weeks after the Philly shows last year and there are a few tunes that would be very difficult to hear even still, however.. If they show up in the setlist, then I will KNOW that they were meant to speak to me... The emotional healing power of music is a very real, very heavy thing... I just take the setlist far more seriously than most, I suppose... Having said that, I would hate to stand in the way of anyones happiness.. If your family will get that much joy out of hearing these songs, then I wish them for you..
