My husbands car was stolen a few years back. We found it ourselves on a parking lot. It had been ransacked, but everything was in tact. I'm not sure how big your town or neighborhood is or what your luck would be with it being a new car, but maybe you could search some nearby places that make for a good ditching place. Good luck.
