There aren't any LPs for sale. You did say recently right? I think someone is trying to rile up the vinyl crowd if you ask me.

  • Well 10c has shortchanged us on the DEEP magazines the last few years...

so figure that into the Karma equation however you want.

Last year or so I ordered some of the available Xmas singles that I didn't have and after about a month of waiting I wrote them and they said they already shipped them... so I waited some more..... and they still didn't show... then I asked again ....and they kinda got short with me and I felt like they thought I was lying..... but I did end up getting them eventually....

Night 1 of the Camden 06 show, my Ten Club envelope had 4 tickets. I went back to the TC Window and gave them back the two extras.

That happened to me as well but I gave my other copy to a friend of the band.
I've also received 2 copies of the Xmas singles a few times over the years but I donated the spares to the Newcastle Pre-Show fundraiser

10c sent my order to someone else by accident...I got an email from a guy that I'd never heard from. Awesome PJ fan that he is - he sent it on to me. In the meantime - 10c had already resent my order. So, when I got the second one, I sent it back and they rewarded me w/ a Buffalo '03 boot. Karma is a good thing :)

They once sent me the wrong shirt. I emailed them and they said to send it back and they would send me the right one and for my trouble I also got a bootleg of my choice!

  • my 10c fuck up actually ment me getting fucked by them >>> in 98 they didn't send me my request form for tickets to the tour . so off course i didn't get my usuall seating for the MSG SHOW i wanted to attend i had to scalp tickets ....i did let them know though via hand written letter everyday until they acknowledged their f'up i must of written 30letters ....specially with my member# it meant missing out on front row for that classic show back then you could only purchase 1 show from 10c ........
jesus greets me looks just like me ....
  • Well I would not call it a F up, but back in 1998 I decided to have a Pearl Jam X-Mas and buy PJ related gifts from the 10C for all my family members in an attempt to convert them all in one shot. Well my order never made it in time for X-Mas and arrived in February, but Tim sent me a 1998 Portland Ames poster to apologize for the mistake. At the time I had no idea of the value of that poster, but I have since learned and join the poster addicts club too. Thanks again Tim for one of my favorite PJ posters!!!

Don't worry. Seniority wasn't used for ticket location back in 98, so you didn't miss out on front row.

What does that mean? Are you saying that the 10c big brother is going to watch all my future transactions, or are you saying you are going to give me shitty seats next PJ tour. Mate I dont give a f*ck.

  • just an observation.... what you did doesn't really say much for you being a pretty "honest" guy now does it?

    Just saying

Opinions are like assholes, everybodies got one. The way I see it is I have been a pretty good person over the course of my life, stayed in school, kept out of jail, got married, had a family, I have worked as a firefighter for over ten years I have given more over this time then most people. I have a constant lung problem from my job, and in return I thought that maybe keeping a LP for me maybe give it to my daughter might be a nice little thing for me, well I thought why not. To you and SLH and any body else with an oinion on me.........GO GET F*CKED.

if the 2nd LP you received brings your life comfort and joy, then by all means enjoy it - or rather, i'm sure your daughter will enjoy it,...

p.s. does anyone remember the Simpsons episode where Homer takes up firefighting and begins to steal from victims of fires after putting out the flames? something about "being entitled for risking his life, and poor pay" if i'm not mistaken?! ;):)

out of curiosity, and this is obviously a hypothetical scenario, but if 10C asked you to choose one of the following:

    a) return the 2nd LP you received by mistake

    OR

    b) keep the 2nd LP after paying for it

which option would you choose? :)

Yes it was, in 98 (in the US at least) you could buy just one pair of tix, and they were mailed to you in advance. The system wasn't as well defined as now, but seniority was in effect.
