I want to do it at the Phoenix, a pub on Cavenish Square, just behind Oxford Street in Central London. They want a 200 pound deposit to set up the event. It'd be a charity fundraiser like the ones in North America.
I only just sent an email to the Teenage Cancer Trust (Roger Daltrey is the patron, and one that Eddie supports) to see if I could use their name, and possibly have the deposit either waived, reduced, or make it refundable. If not, I'll try to approach Hard Rock Calling and others to see if they can sponsor the event and cover the cost.
Either way, the pre-party will be on Thursday night. Peeps coming in from Belfast can go straight to the party!
