There is NO WAY they'd pack up and drive all their crap to another city...if for no other reason (and there are many logical reasons why they wouldn't) than it would totally go against the spirit of this news and what the band has been preaching for a while: environmental awareness.

They know they can sell out Boston 2 so why go somewhere else? Once the Garden's schedule is set for May (mid April ish), they make their announcement. If it's not Boston, they aren't going to do a one-night show somewhere.

The Garden's May schedule will not be set by mid-April. The Celtics may not know if they will advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs until as late as May 2. The Bruins may not know if they will advance to the second round of the NHL playoffs until as late as April 29.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

PJ could have played DC which would have had the potential for 100% of the fans mass commuting to the show.

Instead, they chose to play in Bristow VA, where 100% of the people HAVE to drive to the remote location.

...the environment is secondary to wherever provides a bigger paycheck. All things being equal though, then maybe environmental reasons will factor in.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

People paid $93 to get to be behind the stage and in the 400-levels at Madison Square Garden, and those tickets were gone immediately.

Whoa! Hasn't been sold out yet?

Yeah, cause the only seats left are in the nosebleeds behind the stage. Not the loge, the balcony. Who in their right mind would pay $90+ a ticket to look down on the backs of their heads?
    new yorkers.
