GREAT thread. I want to listen to everyone you listed(except the 2 i don't have). I've collected over 500 PJ Boots, but i really haven't sat down and listen to that many. Thanks for giving me a reason to>

I just got done listening to the Zurich '92 show, and it is REALLY GOOD. The Mamason is good. Also thought that PORCH was a killer.

Oh yea, i have listen to Buffalo from '03, and i have to agree, that show is teriffic. Better(as far as peformance) then State College, though thats a GREAT show too.

I'd gladly trade in my times at Newcastle 06 and Philly 4 09 (not 3, no, that's untouchable) to be at Buenos Aires 1 05.

I thought the Den Haag and Melwegg shows were good, but don't touch Zurich. IGAF, from Den Haag was teriffic though.

I thought the first half of the May 13, 1993 from Slim's Cafe in San Fran was REALLY good, but kinda sluggish in the 2nd half of the show. At that time, was that ther longest show? 24 songs. Its a pretty good AUD recording. Gota agree on the Brixton Academy show(July 14, 1993) as i'm almost done listening to it now. Another good AUD recording.

yeah Zurich is pretty much the gold standard for that era. slim's is a little sloppy at parts, but the setlist is just nuts and the songs are played in ways they never have been since so i always end up going back to it. the daughter is so strange with the electrics and distortion. it's just a very raw show. Brixton just sounds great and it/s a great setlist with all of the version just played so tightly. love that sonic reducer and fuckin up.

I was at Both Buffalo and State College. Buffalo was great, Stage college was legendary. You also forgot Boston 3, which was better than Buffalo, but no State College.

You also forgot 2004, I would say:
    1) Toledo (no explanation necessary)
    2) Boston 2 (I've got a feeling, alone, parting ways)

sweet! yeah the idea with the thread is just to get people to listen to shows they might have otherwise overlooked. There's a lot of shows out there and so much goodness. Might have to put on MSG '98. It's been a few years since ove heard that Alive!

1994: Of course that Atlanta show(which i recorded off the radio) is a killer. I really dug the Orpheum show from Boston. LOVE to have the SBD from that show. Not sure, but i don't think i have the St. Petersburg show.

1995: Man, that OSAKA, JAPAN show was TERIFFIC!! They tore that place up. I listen to that show on my way up to the train station, for the MSG shows. A friend of mine was going with me, and said i HAVE to burn him a copy of that show. Also love the way that one guy was yelling PEARRRRRLLLLL JAAAMMMMM!! I don't know if he was the taper or not, but he only did that between songs. Also, its a GREAT AUD recording. Go figure since it was in Japan?>

Glad i listen to the Melbourne show, because for some reason i had that in MP3! UGH!! I just DL a FLAC version, so i'll give that a listen when i can.

Thats what i'm up to. I haven't had a chance to listen to any others, as i've been at 5 PJ shows the last couple of weeks. I'll try to listen to the others in the next few weeks.

I have seen some pretty good shows in my time, but have to agree with this... The Borgata was one of my favorite shows of all time. The set was solid, not legendary. The crowd was small, but on fire, like the band.

No one ever talks about this show, and I feel it is extremely underrated... take a listen. Porch through Grievance was a workout... and you have to picture the 10club at a very nice casino ballroom... it was great in a weird way! The red sox/yankees nonsense is a bit annoying, but to me... the show symobolized the cleansing of the Riot Act debacle, and brought me back as a fan. Avocado came out a bit later, and the rest is history...

Here!! Here!! Well said, 10 C was doing a lottery for this and I won and the wife & I (from Chicago) made a total PJ vacation and then spent 5 days in NY. Met some great fans that night and how about that poster for the show? PS- Won $500 playing blackjack after the show.
