Mailman left my posters in the rain...again!

So, a few weeks ago I posted how the mailman had left my poster lying down on my steps in the rain and the poster had some damage.

This time, that motherfucker did it with two posters. He must've lay them down on my steps again (I have a screendoor, mind you) but this time both posters blew into my garden and have been lying there in the fucking rain for who knows how long! These are unsalvagable at this point.

Seriously, obviously i know I have to let tenclub know about this, but how do I handle this mailman? He is really someone I don't want to piss off.

I also haven't gotten my copy of DEEP yet......perhaps he stole it.

Neither rain, nor sleet, nor gloom of night will stop the mail man......... from leaving mail and packages in the weather... Seriously, what the fuck?!?

You need to let the mailman know what to do in advance.

You should also visit your local post office and ask them to replace the item.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

I guess I'm stopping by the post office tomorrow....definitely putting a stop to package delivery at my house...and then working on the ability to develop the innate sense to know exactly when the tenclub will ship to my house and be accurately able to predict the weather for that day. Easy.

Does your local post office have rental boxes? Not sure how much monthly they cost but it would be a cool idea to check into one of those, if this postal delivery service you are getting in your area is this bad. I would so take pictures of the tubes that were lying in the garden, soaking wet etc.. and sent it all with a note to the better business bureau & postal service in your area. If the mail man will never learn & I doubt he cares, you gotta lay down the smack down even if it's gonna cost him his job. You should never get service like this.

I had (3) posters in transit during a rainy period, about a month ago. Knowing that there was going to be a chance of water damage, I called my post office and asked if I I could just pick them up there-as opposed to having them delivered. They said it was fine, and I picked them up without any damage to them

New Jersey doesn't typically have rainy periods. I have just been very unlucky. I just wrote a complaint via email, since customer service is not open. One poster is drying quite nicely....the other is drying wrinkly and stained....so fucking frustrating.

I know quite a few people who get them delivered to their place of work. Less chance of them being left outside? That might help?

Very obviously, I am not a dude. If you paid that much for a piece of paper, you are an asshole and you are missing the point of the entire post...it's not really about the item, it's really about respect for the people the mailcarriers are serving....there were options other than leaving it in the rain.

If any of us half assed our jobs like this, we'd be in trouble.

I wonder what collage or institute would deliver a diploma without any proper shipping. No registered mail? Return receipt? No signature or tracking? Just drop it off and out they go. Wow! I had to sign mine. When my bro got his, he wasn't home & so they left him a note to pick up @ the local post office. If you did pay 100,000 dollars worth of college learning, that college should hand delivered it to your door by the Dean of Arts.

Elusive, got a video camera? I've seen it on 20/20 once where one owner would tape on SLP VHS tape each morning by the window when the mailman from 9a - 12pm each day. When ever the mailman came by, it would record how he reacted & how he worked. It was a scene. The mailman didn't like his job & one footage had him drop a huge box and just left it outside the house with a thunderous smash to the ground, where the box had the sticker's 'fragile, handle with care'. Following week, owner received a new mailman on his street & hasn't had a problem ever since.

again ?! I remember your post from last time...I hope you can get this taken care of...asking the post office to not deliver and instead picking it up seems like a good idea...I was expecting a record earlier this week and it was cloudy, even though it didn't rain, luckily my mail person put it inside the screen door
