    I have to say I Love Release, gets me fired up.

    I've only seen Corduroy (and "walking the cow" if you count ed solo), but c'mon it's not even a real question, OF THE GIRL! Hearing that as an opener (which is the only time they play it I think) would be how I make my get away.

    I have seen Sometimes, Wash, Gonna See My Friend, and Why Go...I'd have to say Sometimes was my favorite so far.

    Well i've only been to two PJ shows and they opened with Release (Camden '98) and Why Go (Philly 4) which I think are pretty solid ones. Wonder what they'll open with at MSG 2?

    i've seen the band 9 times and have seen 9 different openers! i like this trend. we'll see if it keeps up this year when i catch them 4 (maybe 5) times :mrgreen: .

    I've heard Release the most, and it probably is my favorite. Of The Girl and Long Road were pretty good too. The one I want to hear as an opener, that I have yet to, is Oceans.

    I wouldn't mind adding more 'unusual' openers to that list. Alive, Do The Evolution, Jeremy, Porch, even Even Flow I think would be kind of cool. But of those, Release at Boston I 04 was probably my favorite... it was an amazing feeling in that arena during that song. Present Tense in Thunder Bay was also really great. And, if I am only ever going to hear my favorite song- Of The Girl- once, I am glad it opened my hometown show.

    Sometimes was awesome and is probably one of the best, but I really want to hear them open with Release!!!

    Severed Hand would be awesome as it is one of my favorites and also has a great intro.

    i've been lucky and had release, sometimes, rvm and long road at the last four shows.

    sometimes at shepherds bush was special. love that song and the crowd singing louder than Ed in such a tiny venue lifted the hairs on my neck

    "Sometimes" was grand, and perhaps a bit more crunchy / heavy than other versions.

    Albany 06 is my favorite. Life Wasted (reprise) right into Life Wasted.
