How many people are in the Ten Club?

I've seen people with numbers as low as 26### or thereabouts and as high as 435,###. Does that mean there are over 435,000 people in the Ten Club? That can't be, right? I guess it could but I don't think the number is that high. I know that when runners get their BIB numbers for marathons, that they'll have high numbers but that doesn't necessarily mean that there is that many people running in that particular marathon. Maybe apples and oranges but does anyone know the amount? Just curious. Thanks.

    Any math wizards out there?

If we know the current paid membership is 73,417

And if we know our member number is xxxxxx

Then we are at what percentage of the 73,417?

Are you at the 22% mark? Are you at the 81% mark?

(To get this equation, I think we would need to make assumptions, like there are an equal number of empty member numbers between 1xxx and 500xxx just to keep things simple).

SO... who can figure out that math problem?
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

Therefore, are tour locations based upon Fan Club memebership location?

You do have to make that assumption without the details. Though you know that has to be wrong as I'm sure there are more members between 0-100,000 then 300,000-400,000 given the power of senority.

If you make that assumption and the assumption that the person above is the last member at #454320 then you take 454320/73417 which is 6.188212539. You then take you 10c number say #200,000 and divide by 6.188212539 which is 32,320 - where you are on the list. Take 32320/73417 and you will see your at the 44.02% mark.

Or an easier way ( tend to complicate things and forgot about the assumptions) take you member # and divide by 454320. The number of actual members doesn't matter!!!!!!!!

A last thoughy is this might have some validity looking at a MSG show on touringfans - #200,000 would place at#76 of 171 people listed - which is 44%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In your example you are assuming that the number of members that are "active" are distributed equally among the total. No way of getting a better assumption than that, although we do know that those members that paid within the last 12 months are going to be still "active" and have the highest member #'s.

I actually don't think what I've said above helps, guess I am just thinking out loud or something......

I kind of wish they would just flush everything away and reassign numbers based on the actual members.

    Keep the seniority of course.

There are less members between 0-100,000 then 300,000-400,000 because so many people have dropped off throughout the years.
