clearly you do not understand what happened with the government and the student loans...there are banks that assume no risk on those student loans, yet they act as middle men and charge 6-8% interest on top of those loans and assume no risk at all, so they are taking 6-8% from the consumer as pure profit. the legislation removed those middleman banks so that the federal government insures and backs those loans. how the hell is that a bad thing? it keeps the banks from gouging the consumer. if you had gone to college and been burdened by $70,000 in student loan debt you would realize that that extra 6-8% is a significant amount of extra money to be on the hook for...so good for the democrats for again trying to protect the consumer..

I find (this goes for all sides) that MANY of the people who are calling him Marxist haven't actually read him. It's also a generational thing, my father (who is 50) and grew up in the States said where he was, Marx wasn't studied for fear of being labeled a communist just for reading it.
