I was gutted to realise how close I could have come to see PJ in their '92 heyday. That was my theory, but the notion that the OP planted the seed that grew into their first ever Belfast show is far cooler.

ah yes - there it is - it looks like it was a London-based agents suggestions for a possible tour that summer

turns out the band went to Rock am Ring in Germany (instead of doing Dublin & Belfast) - tsk tsk!

What an amazing story, it's like a dream come true... unbelievable. Mate if I ever meet you in Belfast the beers are on me! (ever go see "pearl jem" at the spring and airbrake?) I hope you are one of the reasons the're coming to Belfast this summer it sort of fits with my view of what i think the guys are like if you know what i mean. How many gigs have i sat in the odssey watching secertly wishing it could be pj and now i still can't belive it. Great, great post made my night.

i met all of them in a sauna in Edinburgh.. i'm sworn to secrecy obviously.. but all i can say is that Boom does not like people messing with his hair gels. :shock:

I reckon there'll be big smiles a plenty come june! i'll probably be crying a little bit myself! I seem to have been waiting for this my whole adult life and now it's happening I can barely think of anything else and i'm 36 years old for god's sake!!!!

I asked Vedder after the SBE show if they were coming back to Scotland and the lying cunt said yes. I bet they switched it from Glasgow to Belfast after meeting yer man here in the hotel. :evil:
