I think the shows in 03 had the most of everything combined...The energy, emotion, crazy setlists, intensity, BLOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anything could be used as an opener....There was a really great cleaned up band sound for the tour, too. '52 Teles abound!!!
How many semi legendary(or better) shows are there from that tour? State, Buffalo, Boston experiment, Alpine, Champaign.....
St Louis had the coolest moody setlist I've been a part of. Indy was so intense...I still distinctly remember Ed and Mike drenched from head to toe, goin back to back during SoLaT.

Then '03 is very close 3rd (Nashville, Lexington).
